What is GATE? Know GATE full form and other details

Full form of GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The exam is conducted every by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) jointly on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. Qualifying GATE paves way for students to pursue postgraduate and doctorate level courses in India’s top institutes and universities.

GATE 2020 will be conducted for 25 subjects (also referred to as “papers”). As per the GATE 2020 schedule, the exam will be conducted on 1, 2, 8, and 9 February, 2020. The GATE examination centres are spread in different cities across India, as well as, in six cities outside India. GATE 2020 registrations will begin from September 3, 2019 and last till September 24. Candidates aspiring for exam must fulfill all the GATE 2020 eligibility conditions before registering for the exam. The examination would be purely a Computer-based Test (CBT).

What is JEE Main? Know JEE Main full form and other details

Full form of JEE Main is Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main. It is a national level undergraduate engineering entrance exam conducted for admission to BTech or BE programmes offered by 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 CFTIs. Also, JEE Main is the qualifying test for JEE Advanced through which candidates get admission to 23 IITs. From 2019 onwards, JEE Main is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) twice in a year i.e. January and April.

As per JEE Main schedule, January 2020 exam will be conducted on January 6-11 and April 2020 exam will be conducted on April 3-9. JEE Main 2020 registrations for January session will held from September 2 to September 30, 2019 and that of for April session will held from February 7-March 7, 2020. All aspirants must adhere to the NTA prescribed JEE Main 2020 eligibility criteria before appearing for the exam. The examination would be purely a Computer-based Test (CBT).

What is BITSAT? Know BITSAT full form and other details

Full form of BITSAT is Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test. It is a computer-based online test for admissions to Integrated First Degree programmes of BITS Pilani campus, K K Birla Goa campus and Hyderabad campus. BITS Pilani is India's top ranked non-government institute (as per QS BRICS, QS Asia and QS India 2019 rankings). It is also among the six Institutes of Eminence, as announced by MHRD, Government of India.

BITSAT 2020 schedule will be announced by the institute along with the official admission notification. It is expected that the BITSAT 2020 admission forms will be made available online from the first week of January next year. Interested candidates can check the BITSAT 2020 eligibility conditions to be fulfilled at the time of registration.

What is KEAM? Know KEAM full form and other details

Full form of KEAM is Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical. It is an entrance exam conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) every year for admission to professional degree courses in Kerala. KEAM is probably the only entrance test in India that is conducted by a State Government directly.

KEAM 2020 exam dates will be announced by CEE along with the official admission notification and in-detail prospectus. It is expected that KEAM 2020 admission forms will be made available online from the first week of February next year. Interested candidates can check KEAM previous year question papers to understand the difficulty level of the exam.

What is MHT CET? Know MHT CET full form and other details

Full form of MHT CET is Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. It is conducted annually by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra, for admission to undergraduate degree courses of Engineering, Pharmacy, and Agriculture streams in various college across the state. Earlier the test scores were also used for admissions to medical degree courses but after introduction of NEET, the same has been scrapped.

MHT CET 2020 Exam dates will be announced by the DTE along with the official admission notification and in-detail prospectus. It is expected that MHT CET 2020 admission forms will be made available online from the first week of January next year. Interested candidates can check previous year MHT CET 2020 cut off.

What is UPSEE? Know UPSEE full form and other details

Full form of UPSEE is Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam. The entrance exam is conducted by Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh for degree level engineering institutions and other professional courses.

UPSEE 2020 application forms are likely to be available from the third week of January next year. Interested candidates can check UPSEE previous year question papers to understand the difficulty level of the exam.
