Engineering Colleges accepting CUET for B.Tech in India

HRIT University conducts HRIT HNAT Test to shortlist candidates for admission. The university also accepts scores in GPAT, UGAT, PG Admission Test conducted by AKTU, etc. for specific programmes. Hence, admission to most of the courses is entrance-based.

Avantika University offers BTech Computer Science Engineering programme in six different specialisations at the undergraduate level. These specialisations include Full Stack Development, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing and Interaction Design.

Rishihood University admission is currently open. The university offers courses, such as BTech, BDes, etc., at the UG level. Students can check course-wise total tuition fee from the table presented below:

During the 2022 placement, the highest and average packages were INR 45 LPA and INR 8.09 LPA respectively. Prominent international companies like Deloitte, Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys etc. participated in  NIT Nagaland Placement 2022. While median package at Nagaland University is 3.5 LPA.

There is no mention of Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology offering lateral entry into BTech courses. There is also no mention of a lateral entry eligibility criteria for BTech courses by either Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology or University of Jammu.

Thus, candidates should assume that BTech courses are not open for lateral entry at this institute.

The first session exam was conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2025 (Paper 1), and January 30, 2025 (Paper 2). The second session of JEE Mains was held from April 1 to 8, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 exam date for sessions 1 and 2 can be checked on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.  

The annual cost of a B.Tech degree at Renaissance University is roughly 80,000.

Results from national entrance exams such as the CAT, MAT, ATMA, XAT, and MPMET are used to determine admission, and applications can be submitted online or offline. 

The university admit candidates to its BTech in Civil Engineering course on entrance score basis. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates) can apply. NICMAR application form can be filled out in online mode. For the offline applications, candidates can contact the admission office. The selection is done based on scores in the NICMAR Common Admission Test (UG-NCAT). Candidates can also apply with a valid score of JEE/MH CET/ PERA/CUET/Other states CET. Shortlisted students are also called for the personal interview round. 

Gandhigram University provides an opportunity for the BTech students to apply for various scholarships. The eligible SC, ST, OBC and, PwD category students can avail the Central Sector Scholarship (postmatric) through the respective State Government. Gandhigram Rural Institute BTech scholarships also include remittance of tuition fees. The eligible SC/ ST/ SCC/ PwD category students are exempted from remittance of tuition fees.

The 2025 cutoff for the BTech in CSE programme at MNR University has not been released yet. However, the cutoff for the academic year 2023 decreased compared to 2021, indicating an increase in the competition level.
