No, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced are mandatory entrance exams for all candidates who wish to join the BTech courses of IIT Hyderabad. The allotment of BTech seats at IIT Hyderabad is done during the JoSAA counseling based on the aforementioned entrance exams.

However, candidates who are applying for courses such as MTech or MBA are not required to appear for JEE to qualify for admissions.
