For PG admission, the general category's minimum aggregate score is 50%, while the SC/ST/PwD category's minimum is 45%. On August 18, 2023, the results were released along with the OUAT 2023 cutoff for postgraduate courses. Yes, it is difficult to get a seat in Utkal University M.Tech as their is only one round of selections for very few seats. Utkal University M.Tech admissions take place through the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE). If a candidate has a valid OJEE score they are eligible to apply for admission in the M.Tech programme.
The OJEE exam is not as tough as other national-level entrance exams in the country, but since the university only offers 40 seats in the programme the competition is way higher than other exams. Thus, it is difficult to get into Utkal University MTech.
