DSAT 2026: The exam conducting body, Dayananda Sagar University, is expected to release the DSAT 2026 notification soon. Along with the notification, the exam body will also release the DSAT application form 2026 soon. DSAT will not be conducted for admission to BTech courses at DSU. In addition to the DSAT, DSU accepts scores from other entrance exams for B.Tech admission, including JEE Main, COMEDK UGET, KCET, and Uni-GAUGE. DSU also offers direct admission to its B.Tech program. Along with B.Tech, DSAT is also conducted for admission to courses like BPharm, BA LLB, MTech and MBA courses.

The DSAT exam is conducted in multiple schedules, in home-proctored mode. The university informs the students of the DSAT exam date and other DSAT login details. The direct link to apply for the DSAT 2026 exam will also be available here. Interested Students can visit the official website or click the link to apply for DSAT 2026. Students must pay an INR 1000 registration fee before filling the form.

Q:   Is the DSAT Exam Online/Offline?

DSAT exam can be taken both Online as well as Offline, you are free to choose your preferred mode of Exam.The online DSAT exam can be taken at the convenience of your home.You will receive an email with the required DSAT exam link, you can take the exam using the link which will be shared with you one day prior to the DSAT exam.The Offline DSAT exam will be conducted in Dayananda Sagar University, Innovation Campus, Hosur Main Road, Kudlu Gate, Bengaluru.

The DSAT exam schedule is expected to be released soon. The test will be conducted across multiple phases in a year.

The time duration of DSAT is 90 minutes. The test will starts at 10.30 am on every scheduled DSAT date.

DSAT is an annual university-level entrance exam held on university premises in Bengaluru to shortlist students for admission to various UG and PG courses in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, etc. fields.

 DSAT 2026 Application Form
First the exam body releases the DSAT 2026 application form which can be filled in online mode only. To fill the application form, students must follow 4 steps - 

Registration: Visit official website and submit details comprising of candidate’s name, email id, mobile number and password.

Select details of state and city from where you are applying for the exam and enter the captcha code to register successfully.

Filling of DSAT application form in online mode: In the next step, students must log in to the official website using their credentials such as - User Id and password. Fill in details of academic qualification.

Upload scanned copy of photo & signature: Upload scanned copy of photograph and your written signature according to the specifications. The size must be less than 50KB and the image format must be JPEG or JPG.

Payment of application fee: Pay DSAT 2026 application fee online via net banking or credit/debit cards. After paying fee, download and take printout.

DSAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To successfullly suibmit the appliction form, students must meet the minimum eligibility criteria as per which those students who have qualified 10+2 or any equivalent exam must apply. The courses wise eligibility is listed below:

For Undergraduate Courses - B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology)

  • Passed PUC/CBSE/ICSE/10+2 or equivalent from recognised Board/University with
  • Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects.
  • Minimum marks of a total of 45% in the qualifying exam for General and OBC category applicants. For SC/ST, a minimum of 40% of marks is required in 10+2 or equivalent.
  • Along with Physics and Mathematics in class 10+2, Students must have either Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Electronics, or English.

For BPharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy)

  • Aspirants must have passed a two-year PUC or any equivalent examination from a recognised board or university.
  • Applicants need at least a 40% score in either of these combinations: PCM, PCB, PCMB,
  • PC & Computer Science or PC & Electronics.
  • For PharmD
  • Passed 10+2 from PUC or any other examination.
  • Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects in 10+2 or equivalent with either Biology or Mathematics.

For Post-Graduation Courses

  • For MTech (Master of Technology):
  • A degree in BE/BTech with at least 50% of marks in aggregate in the respective field.
    MBA: Master of Business Administration
  • Students must have passed a Bachelor's Degree of a minimum of three years duration from a recognised university

Last year students can also apply.
Students must have passed with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate (there is 45% reservation for candidates from SC/ST & OBC category) of all the years of the degree examinations.

Fill the form
Those planning to sit for DSAT exam should fill and submit it along with the documents asked. They must check their eligibility for the exam before starting with the application. Demand Draft or DD is one of the paying options.
Download DSAT 2026 Admit Card
Students successfully registered can get access to hall ticket. The hall ticket will be available on university's official website. This is an important document to be carried to the exam hall. The admit cards are generally made available at least a week before the date of the examination.
Appear for DSAT 2026
DSAT 2026 will be conducted in June. Students need to answer multiple-choice questions in 2 hours. The medium of the exam will be English. Students must note that there is no fixed question paper pattern for DSAT.
Check DSAT 2026 Result
The result of DSAT is generally declared within a month from the date of examination. Students can view their scorecards online by entering their registration number. Students who clear the exam will make it to the merit list prepared by the admission authorities.
Counselling
Once the results are declared, The University will conduct the counselling round. Students need to be present in person for the counselling round along with the required documents.

The DSAT syllabus is almost similar to the syllabus of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry for Class 12. The syllabus comprises all the topics and concepts that a candidate should prepare to qualify for the DSAT exam. Also, the DSAT syllabus will help Students in studying exam-related things only. The syllabus, as well as the DSAT exam pattern, are equally important for a candidate who is willing to appear for the exam.

DSAT 2026 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern is prescribed by the exam body. By analysing the exam pattern Students must know sections, names of subjects on which questions paper will be based, the duration of the exam, the total number of questions, the marking scheme, total marks etc. All students must check the exam pattern as well as the DSAT marking scheme to strengthen their preparations.

DSAT 2026 Admit Card

All aspirants will be allowed to download their DSAT admit cards as per the scheduled dates. Students without their admit cards will not be allowed to appear for DSAT 2026. Students are advised to carry a valid and original photo ID proof with them to the exam centre. Only an Aadhaar Card, Passport, College ID or notarized Affidavit with photo, signature, date of birth and residential address will be acceptable for the said purpose.

DSAT 2026 Results

The authorities will announce the DSAT 2026 results online on the official website. Students will be able to access their results by logging in to the official website using the DSAT application no. and date of birth. Students who qualify for DSAT 2026 will be eligible to participate in the counselling and allotment of seats.

DSAT 2026 Counselling

SCSVMV University will conduct the DSAT 2026 counselling for qualified Students in offline mode. Aspirants need to download the call letter that comprises the time, date and venue for DSAT counselling 2026. Students must indicate their preferred campus and branch while registering for the counselling. They must carry the requisite documents in original for verification as specified by the University and attend the counselling in person. After allotment of seats, they are required to verify the seat by paying the specified admission fee.
