Q:   What will be the duration of the TJEE?
A: 

As per official TJEE pattern, duration of entrance examination is 180 minutes. Candidates will have to attempt 90 objective questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and Biology within duration. No extra time will be given to candidates to complete exam.

Q:   Will TJEE be held online?
A: 

TJEE will be held as an offline test. Candidates have to select correct answer from given options and mark it in answer sheet. Candidates have to mark answers correctly or it will not be checked by authorities.

Highlights of TJEE 2026 Exam Pattern

  • Before the exam, candidates should read and go through the instructions carefully.
  • Candidates should not spend too much time on questions they are unsure about.
  • The total duration of TJEE 2026 paper is 3 hours.
  • The questions of the examination will be framed based on the Syllabi of Tripura Joint Entrance Examination which is in force w.e.f. 2008.
  • TJEE syllabus for each subject is divided into 10 Modules.
  • There will be 30 compulsory MCQs, taking 3 questions from each Module for the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
  • Each question will carry 4 marks, i.e. total marks for a question paper will be 120.
  • Each question will have four options (i.e. A, B, C, D) out of which the correct /closest option (A/B/C/D) is to be identified.
  • After selecting correct/closest answer, candidate will have to fill the corresponding circle (i.e. A/B/C/D) in the appropriate space provided in OMR Sheet. 1 mark will be deducted for the wrong answer.
