Q:   What is the syllabus of TJEE exam?
A: 

TJEE syllabus consists of subjects and topics to be studied for entrance exam. Students have to study topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Level of syllabus will be similar to 12th class qualifying exam.

Q:   When will the TJEE exam be conducted?
A: 

TJEE 2026 exam date will be announced soon. The authorities will conduct TJEE 2026 as offline test at different centres. Candidates can check official TJEE 2026 dates soon. TJEE 2026 is held to select candidates for admissions into courses offered by participating institutes.

Q:   How can I create a timetable for TJEE preparation?
A: 

Candidates should create a study plan for TJEE preparation. Through timetable, they can complete syllabus before entrance examination date. This will give candidates time to revise before exam.

Q:   Will TJEE be held online?
A: 

TJEE will be conducted as a pen and paper based test. During exam, candidates will have to mark all correct answers in OMR sheet given by authorities.

Q:   What will be the duration of the TJEE?
A: 

As per official TJEE pattern, duration of entrance examination is 180 minutes. Candidates will have to attempt 90 objective questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and Biology within duration. No extra time will be given to candidates to complete exam.

Q:   Which subjects do I have to study for TJEE?
A: 

As per official TJEE syllabus, candidates will have to study topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each subject has been divided into 10 modules. While preparing question paper, authorities will take 3 questions from each module.

Q:   What is the division of topics in the TJEE syllabus?
A: 

TJEE syllabus is released online. Candidates can check topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics through syllabus. Each section will have 10 modules. While preparing question paper, three questions will be taken from each module.

Q:   What is the marking scheme of TJEE?
A: 

According to TJEE exam pattern, candidates will be given 4 marks for every correct answer. but for every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted. 

Q:   Are NCERT books enough for TJEE preparation?
A: 

Since TJEE syllabus will be on the same level as 12th standard (or equivalent) examination, NCERT books will cover the major topics that have to be studied for the exam. However, the candidates are advised to refer to other important books so that they are able to gain a better understanding of the concepts and topics that will be present in the TJEE question paper.

Q:   Are mock tests important for TJEE preparation?
A: 

Mock tests are important in the TJEE preparation process. By regularly solving TJEE mock tests, candidates will be able to check their preparation progress and know their commonly made mistakes. They can work on their mistakes so that they don't repeat them during exam.

TJEE counselling is held online. Qualified candidates have to register, update their details and upload documents. Choice of courses and colleges have to be submitted in order of preference. Seat allotment will be announced online.

TBJEE is expected to conduct two rounds of TJEE counselling 2026. No separate registrations will be open for the two counselling rounds. Candidates have to complete counselling registration before last date.
