Algebra: Sets, operations on sets. Prime numbers, factorization of integers & divisibility. Rational & irrational numbers. Permutations & combinations, basic Probability. Binomial Theorem. Calculus: Sequences - bounded sequences, monotone sequences, limit of a sequence. Functions, limits & continuity. Derivatives & methods of differentiation. Slope of a curve. Tangents & normals. Maxima & minima. Using calculus to sketch graphs of functions. Methods of integration, definite & indefinite integrals, & evaluation of area using integrals.

How to Answer Part 2

There will be nine questions asked in the examination. These nine questions will be divided into three sections. One question needs to be answered from three sections. One question to be answered from all three sections. Four questions will need to be attempted overall. Students will get 30 marks for the correct answer. There will not be any negative marking for incorrect answers.
