The ISI Admission Test exam pattern is designed to test the subject-related knowledge of the candidates who are appearing in the examination, and the exam will be held in offline mode. The ISI Admission Test pattern for the academic session 2026-2027 will be held in two parts.

Part A will have multiple-choice questions, and Part B will be descriptive. And an interview. The language of the exam is English. Candidates are allowed to use calculators without programmable features. Negative marking applies to Section 1 only.
