JEECUP 2026 Seat Allotment

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has announced the JEECUP 2026 seat allotment result for round 7 on the website- jeecup.admissions.nic.in. Students who get a seat in this round will have to pay the fee and report to the allotted institute before the deadline. Candidates who miss the deadline will lose their claim to the allotted seat. The last date for fee payment based on round 7 allotment is September 7. Candidates have to complete the document verification by September 8.

JEECUP Counselling 2026: Document Verification Process

Candidates who are allotted seats in the JEECUP counselling must complete the document verification process to confirm their admission. Shortlisted students have to report to the verification centres with their original documents and self-attested photocopies. While reporting to the institute, candidates need to carry their JEECUP admit card, rank card, application form, mark sheets, domicile certificate and certificates. Only those who report to the institutes with the required documents will be granted admission to the allotted diploma programme.

JEECUP 2026 Choice Filling and Locking Process

As part of JEECUP counselling 2026, candidates have to fill in their choices for colleges and courses. The choice filling process is conducted in online mode only. The authority allots the seats based on the preference order and several other factors. Once the choice locking deadline is over, no changes or edits are permitted under any circumstances. Candidates who have qualified the exam but have not secured admissions can participate in the special counselling rounds by completing the choice filling online. JEECUP 2026 Reservation Criteria

The number of seats and reservations are subject to change under government orders until the counselling begins. As per the UP Government rules, the candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for a seat. These categories are:

1. Vertical Reservations:

  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of General Category - 10%
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC) if they belong to Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) - 27%
  • Scheduled Castes (SC) - 21%
  • Scheduled Tribes (ST) - 2%

2. Horizontal Reservations:

  • Persons with Disability (PwD) (minimum 40% disability) - 5%
  • Freedom Fighter - 2%
  • Ward of Military personnel - 5%
  • Female Candidate - 20%
