HP PAT Application Form 2026: Steps to Fill Form, Registration Fee, How to Apply

Candidates who wish to apply for admission based on HP PAT must ensure to fulfil the eligibility criteria specified by the H.P Takniki Shiksha Board. The HP PAT eligibility criteria 2026 will be updated here for the current session as soon as the official notification is out. Until then, check the eligibility requirements based on the previous year's notice below.

• Academic Qualification -  Applicant must have obtained at least 35% marks in their qualifying exam, i.e., class 10, from a recognised Board ot University.
• Reservation - The candidate must be a bona fide resident of Himachal Pradesh to be considered for the reservation.

Even those who are appearing in matriculation are eligible to appear in the exam, provided they fulfil the eligibility conditions at the time of counselling and admission.

Specifications to Upload Documents in HP PAT Application Form

H.P Takniki Shiksha Board will release the HP PAT 2026 application form tentatively in March 2026. Candidates will be able to fill the HP PAT application form in online mode at hptechboard.com. Applicants can refer to the steps given below to fill HP PAT application form.   

New user HP PAT Registration 2026

• Visit the official website of Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board - hptechboard.com  
• Go to the online admission link.  
• Click on the Polytechnic Admission (PAT 2026) link.  
• Now, a new browser tab will open. Click on the Polytechnic PAT 2026 link.  
• Click on the new user registration link available under online services.  
• Enter the required registration details and click on the submit button. 

Log in and fill HP PAT Application Form 2026

• Enter the login credentials provided at the time of registration and login.  
• Click on the HP PAT 2026 apply online link.  
• Fill in all requested details in the HP PAT application form, including personal and educational details.  
• Upload the scanned image of the photograph and signature based on the given specifications.  
• Pat the application fee online from the login facility.

Application fee payment could be done through online modes like internet banking, credit card, and debit card or through offline bank challan payment methods. For more details, candidates could refer to the table provided below. 

H.P Takniki Shiksha Board will release the HP PAT admit card online on the official website. Successfully registered candidates can download their admit cards by logging into the portal at hptechboard.com. Applicants are required to have their user ID and password to download the HP PAT admit card 2026. Candidates appearing in the exam have to carry their HP PAT admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre. The exam authority will not allow any candidate to appear in the exam without the hall ticket.
