West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (WB TET) is conducted by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) for the selection of primary and upper primary teachers in the state of West Bengal. The notification was released on September 13, 2023, to take the eligibility test for teachers. The application process begun on September 14 and the candidates can apply till October 10. The exam was scheduled for December 10, 2023. Those candidates who will clear WB Primary TET will be considered eligible for the post of teacher in classes 1-5 (level I).
