WBTET Syllabus for Paper-I
Child Development and Pedagogy
In this section of the exam, questions will be related to the educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6-11 years. Questions will focus on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with learners, and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.
Language I
This section will test aspirants on their proficiency in the language of their choice. Candidates can select any language from the list mentioned below:
- Bengali
- Hindi
- Urdu
- Nepali
- Santhali
- Oriya
- Telugu
Language II
In this section, the aptitude possessed by aspirants in the English language is tested. Here questions posed would evaluate aspirants based on their (English language) communication and comprehension abilities.
