Overview

IBPS Clerk Exam Dates 2026: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is expected to release the IBPS Clerk 2026 notification in July 2026 on the official website at ibps.in. Along with the notification, the IBPS Clerk application form will also be released. Candidates will be provided a particular time frame to complete the application process. Earlier, the IBPS exam calendar was released on the official website at ibps.in. As per the calendar, the IBPS Prelims exam will be conducted on October 10 and 11, 2026 whereas the Mains exam will be held on December 27, 2026. 

The exam will be conducted online as a Computer-Based Exam(CBE). The candidates can prepare their strategy according to the IBPS 2026 exam dates notified in calendar. A: 
IBPS Clerk inhand salary ranges between INR 28,000 to 30,000 per month. The inhand salary is calculated after making all the deductions. It is the amount offered to candidates after the gross deductions and additions for expenditure. The amount vary from the place of posting. Candidates posted in metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata get comparatively more amount.
Q:   What is prelims exam pattern for IBPS Clerk?

The exam sof IBPS Clerk prelims comprises three sections. Total marks allotted to the exam are 100. The duration of the exam is one hour. Questions are asked from the syllabus.

The role of IBPS comes to end after the provisional allotment. The offer of appointment is done by the bank/organisation to which candidates has been provisionally allotted. The candidates may contact the allottee bank for appointment. It is better to contact the allotted bank to know regarding the appointment.

Q:   What is the per month salary for IBPS Clerk?
A: 

Selected candidates will get a salary amount only after a few deductions, called in-hand salary. The In-hand salary for the Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III cities is different. For example, if you are posted in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, your in-hand salary amount would be slightly more than others. The In-hand salary given will be inclusive of allowances as per the 7th pay commission.
