The educational qualification for IBPS Clerk is Graduation. Final year candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates must have an operating and working knowledge of computers. 

Candidates between 20 and 28 years are eligible for the exam. Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories. Graduate candidates can apply for the exam.

Final-year students cannot apply for the IBPS Clerk Exam. Candidates need to have graduation mark sheet on the date of application. As per the notification, the minimum qualification require candidates to have a graduation degree or equivalent from a recognised university. Candidates between 20 and 28 Years can apply for the IBPS Clerk post. 

Yes, there are sectional timings in IBPS Clerk exam. In prelims exam, candidates will get 20 minutes to answer each section. In the Mains exam, 35 minutes each will be given to answer questions from General/Financial Awareness, General English and 45 minutes each will be given to attempt Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude questions. The exam sof IBPS Clerk prelims comprises three sections. Total marks allotted to the exam are 100. The duration of the exam is one hour. Questions are asked from the syllabus.

IBPS Clerk inhand salary ranges between INR 28,000 to 30,000 per month. The inhand salary is calculated after making all the deductions. It is the amount offered to candidates after the gross deductions and additions for expenditure. The amount vary from the place of posting. Candidates posted in metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata get comparatively more amount.

The role of IBPS comes to end after the provisional allotment. The offer of appointment is done by the bank/organisation to which candidates has been provisionally allotted. The candidates may contact the allottee bank for appointment. It is better to contact the allotted bank to know regarding the appointment.

The initial basic pay of IBPS Clerk is INR 19,900 with increment of INR 1000 for three years. The basic pay of IBPS Clerk is INR 20,900 with a yearly increment of INR 1230. The basic pay of IBPS Clerk is INR 24,590 with increment of INR 1490. The basic pay is INR 30,550 with increment of INR 1730. The basic pay of IBPS Clerk is INR 42,600 with increment of INR 3270. 

Selected candidates will get a salary amount only after a few deductions, called in-hand salary. The In-hand salary for the Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III cities is different. For example, if you are posted in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, your in-hand salary amount would be slightly more than others. The In-hand salary given will be inclusive of allowances as per the 7th pay commission.

IBPS Clerk exam pattern two parts-prelims and mains. The prelims test comprises three sections and carries 100 marks. The Mains comprises four sections and carries 200 marks. 

 

 

The selection process of IBPS Clerk includes preliminary and Mains exams. The final selection is done based on the Mains exam. The prelims exam marks are not counted for the merit list. Candidates selected through IBPS Clerk exam will be recruited to the 11 participating public sector banks in India. Candidates can ace the exam with good preparation.
