SSC GD Constable Result 2023: Download Merit List PDF

SSC GD Result 2023: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will announce the SSC GD Constable 2022-23 result soon on the official website, ssc.nic.in. Those who took the SSC GD Exam 2022-2023 are eagerly waiting for the SSC GD Result 2022-2023. The result is the final step of the selection process. The selected candidates will be called to the respective headquarters for the appointment. There will be various rounds in the recruitment process. A merit list for group discussion will be prepared after the declaration of the written test results. Candidates can also access the SSC GD Result 2022-23 via the direct link provided below. 

The Commission uploaded the SSC GD 2022-23 Response Sheet(s) along with the Tentative answer Key(s) on the official website at ssc.nic.in on February 18, 2023. Candidates will be able to submit challenges from February 18, 2023 to February 25, 2023 (5:00 PM) for a fee of 100/- per challenged question or answer. 

SSC GD Constable Result 2023 

The commission conducted the SSC GD Constable PET Exam from January 10 to February 14, 2023, at several centres across the country. SSC GD Result 2023 Details

The full form of the SSC GD Constable exam is the Constable General Duty (GD) exam. The Commission will soon declare the SSC GD constable Result 2022-23 for recruitment of Constable (GD) in Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo Tibetan Border Police, Sahastra Seema Bal, Sepoy in NCB, and Rifleman in Assam Rifles.

SSC GD Exam Analysis 2023

The SSC GD Constable 2022-23 exams are going on. The SSC GD Constable Exam 2022-23 was started on January 10 and will continue until February 14, 2023. Here we have provided the detailed SSC GD exam analysis so that candidates will come to know about the difficulty level of the questions, the exam, good attempts, etc.

SSC GD Result: Previous Years

SSC GD 2021 final marks were uploaded by the Commission on November 23, 2022, on the official website. Candidates were able to check their individual marks until December 7, 2022. The commission has decided to upload the final marks of candidates who were declared qualified for appearing in the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) or Review Medical Examination (RME). The SSC GD 2021 final result was declared on November 7, 2022. 

The Commission selected 22, 679 candidates in the SSC GD 2021 final result. The result of 849 candidates were kept withheld. The SSC GD exam was conducted for 25,271 vacancies across the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Central Armed Police Force (CRPF) conducted the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) till October 4, 2022. SSC selected 92, 877 candidates for the Detailed Medical Examination(DME).

SSC GD Result 2023 Declaration Criteria

SSC GD result is declared by Staff Selection Commission after each stage of the exam is over.

• SSC GD CBE result: Candidates whose SSC GD applications are shortlisted are called to appear for SSC GD computer-based exam. Candidates qualifying the SSC GD CBE exam have to appear for the next stage of the exam.
• SSC GD PET/PST: Next, all qualifying candidates have to appear for physical efficiency test and/or physical standard test. Candidates qualifying PET/PST have to appear for the final stage of the exam.
• SSC GD DME/RME: The final stage of SSC GD includes Detailed Medical Examination (DME) of candidates. In DME, candidates are tested to ensure that they are medically fit to join as a Constable or Rifleman in Indian forces. It may be noted that document verification to determine the SSC GD eligibility of candidates is also done at this stage.

It may also be noted that Review Medical Exam (RME) is conducted only for candidates who produce any medical certificate as evidence of the possibility of an error of judgement in the decision of the medical officer/board who had examined them in DME. However, the official website informs, “Such Medical Certificate will not be taken into consideration unless it contains a note by the Medical Officer from Government District Hospital or above along with registration no. given by MCI/ State Medical Council, to the effect that it has been given in full knowledge of the fact that the candidate has already been rejected and declared unfit for service by CAPF Medical Board.”  

SSC GD 2023: Minimum Qualifying Marks

The minimum cutoff marks that candidates need to secure in order to qualify SSC GD CBE are:

It may be noted that the final SSC GD merit list is prepared only on the basis of candidates’ performance in SSC GD CBE exam. PET, PST and medical examination are only qualifying in nature.

SSC GD 2023 CBE Marks: Resolution of Tie Cases

In case, there is a tie between the SSC GD CBE scores of two candidates, it is resolved by following the below criteria:

• A candidate with more marks in Part-A of CBE is considered for recruitment first
• If the tie is not resolved, the candidate with more marks in Part-B of CBE is considered first
• If the tie is still not resolved, a candidate who is older in age is considered first
• If the tie is still not resolved, the alphabetical order of candidates’ names are considered
