Q:   Which IIT accepts CUET score?
A:

CUET UG scores are not accepted by IITs. Common University Entrance Test for UG is conducted for admission to state, central, private, deemed and government institutions. Admission to UG courses of IITs is offered through other national level entrance examinations.

Q:   How many universities accept CUET score?
A:

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score 2026 will be accepted by more than 205 universities (central, state, private and deemed) across India. On the basis of the CUET UG score, candidates are offered admission to UG programme of the participating colleges. Candidates applying for admission to UG programme must ensure to check the course eligibility criteria before filling the application form.

DU Admission Process

Admissions to the various courses offered at DU-affiliated colleges are done through CUET. The admission process for UG and PG programmes has the following steps. 

Step 1 - Register for CUET-UG or CUET-PG

Aspiring DU students must register themselves for CUET-UG or CUET-PG based on the programme that they wish to enter. The applications for CUET are available on dedicated NTA portals (separate for both exams). Once they've registered, they are issued city intimation slips and admit cards to appear for this common entrance test.

Q:   Is the MBA course free at Delhi University?
A:

DU is one of the topmost Indian universities, offers courses in the widest range imaginable, from Arts and Commerce, to Science, Law, and Management. For the MBA programme at DU, the course fees varies from INR 1.56 Lakhs - 3.54 Lakhs. This excludes the caution fees at the university. Step 2 - Appear for CUET

Registered candidates must then appear for CUET. The test schedule is announced by the NTA. The test for different subjects is held on different days and shifts. This online test features multiple-choice questions based on logical reasoning, quantitative ability (depending on the chosen subject), general awareness and subject-specific knowledge. 

Step 3 - CSAS Registrations

Students who have taken CUET then have to register themselves on DU's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). It's an online process and can be done on DU's official website. 

Step 4 - File Preferences

After registering on the CSAS, candidates must enter their preference for DU courses and colleges. 

Admission to PhD Courses - From the academic year 2024-25, DU is accepting UGC NET scores for admissions to their PhD programmes. Depending on the department, DU may also conduct their own entrance exams for PhD programmes. Candidates who are shortlisted for admission are typically interviewed.
