Q: Β  Are NCERT books enough to cover CUET syllabus?
    A:

NTA has mentioned that CUET UG 2026 syllabus will adhere to NCERT syllabus. Hence, it can be assumed that the NCERT books are enough to cover the syllabus of the CUET UG exam. Candidates must note that, CUET exam tests students' understanding of the subject concepts and ability to apply them in various situations.

Therefore, to prepare well and get a good score, it is advised that students refer to other study materials and books designed for national-level competitive entrance exams. The CUET UG syllabus is similar with the Class 12 Board exam syllabus. The chapters and topics are similar to Class 12 syllabus. Unlike other UG entrance exams, CUET UG syllabus does not include Class 11 syllabus.

Best college, good placements, really good infrastructure and environment is contagious
Placements: Out of those who sit, 70–80 percent of the people get placed, as far as I know. The highest package is 13 LPA, and the lowest is 5–6 LPA, and the average would be 8 LPA. Top recruits are Goldman Sachs, United Airlines, and ZS Associates. Top roles offered are decision analytical associate, investment analyst, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi in the whole campus is good, and the labs are well-functioning. The vast library is the best part of the whole college. The quality of facilities in the hostel area is good, and safety is provided. Food is good. The sports and games section of the hostel is growing, and the medical facilities are good.
Faculty: The faculty of the department is the best, in my opinion, highly qualified, friendly, and helpful. The quality of teaching is great. The relevance of the course curriculum is pretty decent, but there are some things that should have been taught to us earlier. The level of the semester exams is not that high, I mean, if you study well throughout the semester, you'll get a good grade. The passing percentage is more than 97.

The infrastructure is really good, along with other curricular activities.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placed every year. Every year, there are many placement and internship programs held to provide more information to students.
Infrastructure: The canteen is good, and food is available at reasonable prices. There are a lot of options, including fruit juices, water, junk food, Indian food, as well as simple food. Fresh food is served all day. There is AC in the canteen with a very big and comfortable sitting area available. All students are friendly, ragging-free, and the campus is a no-smoking zone. The principal always takes care of all the problems.
Faculty: Almost all teachers are good, and they teach very well. The timetable is also very busy, with daily 9 to 5 classes. The course curriculum is relevant. Students also issue books regularly from the college library. The books are very helpful for preparing for exams.
Other: I select B.Sc. Physics Hons because the Department of Physics is so good. Regular visits to CSIR NPL and other valuable lab visits make us feel very interested in Physics. Daily lab practice and lab examinations are conducted.

Review of Miranda House, Girls' College.
Placements: Placement is very good in the institute. 30 percent of students got placement in this course. Some go to do their fourth year in the institute. The remaining students got a Master's. The highest package is approximately 7 LPA this year of our course. B.A. students got good placements compared to us.
Infrastructure: The facilities of the institute are amazing. They help us in lab work also. Lab staff also helps us a lot in doing our experiments. Wi-Fi facilities are available throughout the campus. But sometimes the Wi-Fi facility does not work properly. Classrooms are big and spacious.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Many professors have an experience of approximately 20 years. Some of them were also doing research. They also solve our doubts. Semester exams are of an easy level. Semester exams are held twice a year. Passing marks are 33 out of 90, which is not a big task to score.
Other: B.Sc. hons. Physics is a good course. We can do research after this course. In college, they also teach us coding languages, which helps a lot.

PGDAV College review. Good campus life and crowd, but not good opportunity-wise.
Placements: Unfortunately, there are no placements conducted for the B.Sc. Computer Science course during my time at PGDAV College. Most students have to look for opportunities on their own through off-campus drives or their personal network. Since there are no official placements for our course, there is no data available regarding packages. There are no internship opportunities provided through the college.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is quite good. The classrooms are well-maintained and spacious providing a comfortable learning environment. The Computer Science department has decent labs with the necessary equipment and systems for practical work. There isn't campus-wide Wi-Fi access for students, but the library offers Wi-Fi and has a good collection of books and study materials. The campus itself is clean and well-structured with enough space for both academics and extracurricular activities. There are no hostel facilities available for students but there are plenty of PGs and flats nearby making accommodation quite convenient.
Faculty: The teachers in the B.Sc. Computer Science courses are a mix of good and average. Some are very helpful and knowledgeable, while a few, especially the older ones, are not very engaging or approachable. The curriculum is well-structured and provides a good academic foundation, but it's not very industry-oriented and lacks practical exposure to current technologies. Students need to learn additional skills outside the syllabus to be job-ready. Semester exams are generally easy and mostly based on the previous year's questions. The overall pass percentage is quite high, so with regular study, it's not difficult to score well.
Other: I chose this course mainly because I didn't have many other options at the time, and I thought studying at PGDAV College would still give me good exposure and opportunities. The best thing about the course is that it provides a solid theoretical base in Computer Science. The college has multiple societies so there are plenty of events and extracurricular activities throughout the year. The annual fest is usually held in April and is quite lively.
