Q:   What is the last date for DU admission 2026?
    A:

Delhi University admission 2026 is open now. The last date to apply for DU PG courses is Jun 7, 2026. For the UG courses, students have to apply through CSAS counselling after CUET results are declared. The last date is tentatively scheduled for July 2026.

Q:   Do I need 60% in Class 12 to get admission in DU?
    A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

Q:   How to prepare for DU placements?
    A:

Delhi University has a decent record of placements for courses like BTech, MBA, BCA, MBBS, etc. The course-wise placement details are yet to be released on the offcial website. However, the DU has released the NIRF report 2024 on its offcial website which include the placement details for the batch 2023. Strong conceptual learning environment with supportive faculty and decent lab facilities.
Placements: Placement depends upon you. There is a placement drive on the university campus where you can get placed based on your potential. About the package, the highest you can get is 5 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA-3 LPA. Recruiting companies are ed-tech companies, pharma companies, and students get internships in different universities like IIT Delhi and other IITS, IISERS, CSIR, DRDO, etc. Roles offered in my course are analytical scientist and research scientist.
Infrastructure: Labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms, and libraries are great. The hostel depends on your CUET-PG marks. According to your marks, you can get admission to the hostel. Hostels like Jublee and Rajiv Gandhi hostel are available. The quality of food is very good in hostels, especially in Jubilee hostel and other facilities like medical, sports, and games like table tennis, cricket are very good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They have experience of 10-15 years and their teaching quality is also very good. If I talk about my course, then it is very relevant if YOU want to crack competitive exams like NET, GATE, and other exams. Practice in labs can make you industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult but also depend on how you study, like not mugging up. The pass percentage is around 80-90 percent.
Other: The Delhi University campus crowd is one of the best crowds, and connectivity is also very good. Yellow line (Vishwavidyalaya), there are fests in April. There are no such things as improvising. I chose this course because everywhere we see Chemistry, it is there and I want to know how Chemistry works in real life.

    Honest review of Hindu College.
Placements: Placements in our course were rarely conducted, and companies rarely visited for campus placements. The average package was around 5 LPA. The highest package was about 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies were health companies like Narayana Health, Fortis, and Apollo.
Infrastructure: Facilities were not very good. There were many shortcomings in infrastructure, like the availability of fresh water. Wi-Fi facilities and the library were available. Classrooms needed renovation. A cafeteria was present on the campus for dating. Canteen food was good. First-aid medical support was available.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and knowledgeable in their respective domains. The teaching quality of our faculty members was not very interesting. The course curriculum was relevant and helpful in treatment research. Various seminars were conducted that made us industry-ready. Semester exams were moderate.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility was very nice. The facilities include Wi-Fi labs classroom library and the canteen food was also very nice. Study tables and ample amount of time were also given to study and the library had Wi-Fi access as well. The quality of facilities and hostel was very nice. The quantity and the quality of food were also very nice. The canteen was clean and neat and sports and games facility was very nice of Stephens College.

    Hindu College review diary.
Placements: Companies come here and provide a package of about the highest 30 LPA, as much as I heard, as it depends upon your skills. So, do your best.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and have good infrastructure. Labs are also there. Wi-Fi works in the lab and classrooms. The library is also there and has a great number of books. You can have a detailed explanation of your current program books there.
Faculty: Teachers here are quite helpful and knowledgeable. They will try to make you understand the whole theory. Besides the study, many curriculum activities are also there. And to take part in them, many societies are there to build your personality. You can join them according to your taste.
Other: Don't fear the semester exams. Study well, follow the teachers, and you will definitely pass.

I am satisfied with the staff members.
Placements: The number of students placed in this course is 20%. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Intel, Qualcomm, Samsung, Texas Instruments, Wipro, and Nvidia. 75% of students got internships. Top roles offered are in enhancing decision-making and problem-solving across various sectors.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the institute is well-established. The entire campus is covered with Wi-Fi. The classrooms also have Wi-Fi and smart displays. The labs are well-developed with updated electronic appliances. The food provided on campus is freshly prepared.
Faculty: Teachers are disciplined because they are regular in lectures and always teach with sincerity. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum is relevant and makes the students ready for industrial work. The semester exams are average, and the passing criteria is to score 40% marks in each subject.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to develop my analytical thinking, mathematical and statistical proficiency, computer programming, and strong communication skills. The best thing about this course is that it encourages you to explore the unexplored things. The campus organizes fests and extracurricular activities. The campus also provides scholarships based on student marks.

Kirori Mal College at University of Delhi in M.Sc. course intake year 2026 is the best opportunity
Placements: This college’s placement facilities are good for scoring above 7 CGPA marks because there is a college rule that students below 7 CGPA are not allowed in the placement cell. In this college, companies provide packages like 2.5 Lacs to 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: In this college, facilities provided are very good and use high-quality infrastructure for providing facilities. There are facilities like classrooms, bathrooms, labs, Wi-Fi, lift, auditorium, etc. Facilities are available, but hostel facility is not available because long-distance students do not take admission in this course.
Faculty: This college teachers are very good and solve every question of the students. The teachers are very intelligent, and master’s degree qualified teachers teach the students. This course is a total 2-year duration after the Bachelor’s degree, and the exams are not difficult to pass, but scoring marks is hard for a few students only.
