A review by a student of foreign language course from the Delhi University.

Placements: In my department, we have 25-30% of placements. And, I believe it's well and good because it is a language course and it all depends on the fluency. Amazon came to recruit, and from my course, 10 students got selected, and the package is quite well.

Infrastructure: We have a good infrastructure in our department. Wi-Fi gives good speed. We have a very clean library with 1000s of books. It included books of each and every language. Worth reading. It not only has educational but also comics, magazines, etc. And, we have a beautiful garden which is worth seeing, and sitting there and studying is the best part.

Faculty: The faculty are awesome. The professors have a lot of knowledge. Their teaching techniques are very good. The course curriculum is very properly chosen, it covers each and every field of our language. The subjects which we can have jobs in are all included in our curriculum.

Your college life depends on your friend circle.

Placements: Placements in my college has always been an interesting topic of our group. Every year, around five to six multinational companies come to our college. They seek students with not only better grades but with more overall knowledge that is very important for any student.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is pretty fine. Well, there are no overall air-conditioned classes in our department, but some of our classes do have air conditioning. And by the way, there is no need for air conditioning that much in our college. We really like our classes like this.

Faculty: The help of teachers is really valuable in terms of giving exams. The only better thing is our professors. We really do like going to college and attending all the classes because of the friendly environment created by our professors. I really enjoy spending time with them.

Other: I really wanted to learn a foreign language, and I find this the best possible way to learn and have fun.

Candidate must have completed 12th/equivalent with an aggregate of 45% marks from any recognized institute/board. For admission to honours in any language course, the advantage of 2% will be given in the aggregate ‘Best Four’ percentage to those applicants who have studied that particular elective language. If the applicant has not studied a language at the qualifying examination level and is seeking admission to an honours course in that language, a deduction of 5% will be imposed on the ‘Best Four’ aggregate percentage.
