M Phil, PhD admissions commence at Kakatiya University

Kakatiya University has released notification for admission to its M Phil and Ph D programmes. This notification has been released by the University after a gap of 4 years. 

Kakatiya University conducted Ph D admissions for first time in 2011 and the last notification issued was in 2013. This year, in 2017, the notification has once again been issued, this time after a gap of 4 years. According to The University Director of Admissions Prof M Krishna Reddy, candidates willing to apply to M Phil and PhD courses need to submit the applications online. 

Candidates can apply to Ph D programmes in various subjects in streams like faculties of arts, education, law, pharmaceutical sciences, commerce and business management, engineering and technology, science and social sciences. 

Candidates can apply to M Phil programmes in various subjects in streams like public administration, economics, political science, human resource management, Sociology, Telugu, English, history, commerce and business management and education.

Eligibility:

Candidates willing to apply to the University should hold a master’s degree in the concerned subject. Also, it is mandatory for the candidate to have secured a minimum of 55% marks to be able to appear in the Entrance test – this percentage is 50% for SC/ST/PH candidates. 

Registration fee

  • Ph D: Rs 1,000 for candidates belonging to General Category and Rs 750 for SC/ST/PH candidates
  • M Phil: Rs 700 for candidates belonging to General Category and Rs 500 for SC/ST/PH candidates
