AUAT Application Form 2025 (Extended till May 5): Online Registration Link, Fees & How to Apply

The AUAT marking scheme is as such that for every correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. There is no negative marking. The marking scheme is as mentioned below:

The Aliah University Admission Test is held by the Aliah University, Kolkata to provide admission to candidates into various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses offered by the university. AUAT is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper test) and the duration of the entrance exam is 2 hours. Candidates have to register themselves online on the official website of Aliah University to fill out the AUAT application forms.

To prepare for the AUAT exam, candidates need to know and understand the exam pattern, marking scheme, and syllabus well enough to ace the entrance exam. The entrance exam is divided into two parts, Part A and Part B. Part A is based on general knowledge and testing of the English skills which is of 25 marks while Part B is based on the course opted for, which carries 75 marks.

AUAT, the University level Common entrance exam is held to provide admission to B.Tech, BA, B.Sc Nursing, B.Ed, BCA, B.Sc, Integrated BBA-MBA, MA, M.Sc, MA in Education, MCA, M.Tech, LLM, Lateral Entry to B.Tech courses. Aliah University releases the AUAT application form in online mode only. Eligible and interested candidates were required to download the AUAT application form by visiting the official website of Aliah University aliah.ac.in. For AUAT 2025, it is available from March 10 to April 20, 2025 for admission to UG, PG, Nursing and BEd programmes. 

AUAT exam centres are located in the following cities. The exam centre address, reporting time, etc. will be mentioned on the AUAT admit cards. 

In order to pursue BSc / Integrated 5 years, candidate should have the relevant subjects and should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60%. For BSc (Nursing) (4 years) course, candidate should have secured a minimum 45% in 10+2 and should have Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the subjects taken in 10+2 and for BBA, candidates should done 10+2 with the relevant subjects and should have secured a minimum of 60% in 10+2.

In order to pursue BA at Aliah University, candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% in 10+2 and should have the relevant subjects and for BA and BTech / Integrated 5 -years candidates should have done 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have secured a minimum of 60%.

The question papers of AUAT are answered in MCQ (multiple choice questions) format exept for BA (Hons) / MA in English, Arabic, Bengali and MA in Journalism and Mass Communication. Candidates can check the below mentioned AUAT exam pattern for more details:

• On visiting the homepage of Alaih University, the candidate will have to click on the ‘AUAT 2023’ link which will be present at the top of the page.
• On clicking the link, the candidate will be directed to a new page on the browser, where they will have to click on the link ‘AUAT 2023 Results’.
• A list will be published on the website where the candidate can identify the course applied for and check the result. For PG and BEd results, the candidate will have to select the course applied for to check the merit list.
• The candidate has to select the course and click on view.
