University offers different courses for students in graduation as well as post graduation levels and also promotes research into many fields. There are basically four faculty members of Yog science, Humanities  & Ancient Studies and Science  and Management. The admission is however based on an entrance test conducted by the University. Students must complete the eligibility requirements before they apply.

UOU Uttarakhand is not very difficult to get admission at. Candidates must fullfil the basic eligibility criteria provided by the University. UOU Uttarakhand offers admission based on merit and entrance, depending on the level (UG or PG) of course. Candidates must qualify Class 12 or graduation with minimum suggested aggregate.
