I suggest students go to a better college if they want better opportunities and experience.
Placements: Placements are totally based on us. If we perform well, we will definitely get a placement, as there are moderate opportunities. Many students prefer to go for higher studies for better opportunities. Internship opportunities are available for all by the college, both in-campus and on-campus.
Infrastructure: The college has moderate infrastructure and Wi-Fi facilities. Classrooms are big with a capacity of 60-70 students. There is a big library. There is no hostel facility in the college but we can find affordable PGs or flats nearby the college area. Medical facilities are there in the college, and it is totally free for students.
Faculty: The course is divided into 6 semesters (8, if we opt for the 4th year), class tests and viva are conducted for internal assessment, and attendance also carries 11 marks in internal assessment. Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are good in behavior but sometimes irritate regarding attendance and other stuff.
Other: The college has a big crowd from every part of the country and teachers are also from different states. Fests are also conducted and scholarships are also available. There are different societies for different activities, which comprise both teachers and students.

The college is a very good college.
Placements: 90 percent of students were placed in my college. The highest package was INR 10 LPA, the lowest package was INR 5 LPA, and the average package was INR 7 LPA. The top recruiting company for my college was Genpact. 70 percent of students got internships from my college in the same course, and the company name was Genpact. My course offered the best jobs in the insurance industry.
Infrastructure: Facilities were good. WIFI is available. Labs are also available, and the library is quite small but quiet and peaceful. Classrooms were so airy and big that we could easily adjust in those rooms. The food quality was so hygienic, and there is also a fantastic sports area for students.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were so helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was awesome. Yes, this course's curriculum is relevant. Yes, this course makes students industry- and job-ready. Semester exams are quite easy if you complete your syllabus on time. The pass percentage is 70 percent.
Other: No improvement was needed, everything was good.

All about Shivaji College.
Placements: 30% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is approximately 7-8 Lacs. The average package of college is 3 Lacs. Top companies of placement are Hindustan times, Deloitte etc. College also provides internship opportunities lots of companies offer internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pretty good. Classrooms are not well constructed. The ambience is quite good and there are many hangout points in the college. The sports ground is so vast and the library of the college is also well maintained. The average quality of food available in the canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and it makes student ready for industry-ready. And economics course is very difficult but teachers make it easy to understand. And teachers also provide an environment of study for students.

Average infrastructure and other facilities. Above-average faculty. Average placements.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students got placed through the placement cell of the college. Usually, the companies coming for campus recruitments are startups or small companies. Big names are nowhere to be seen or heard. The highest package as per my knowledge is Rs 7 LPA and the average package is Rs 3-4 LPA. As far as the top recruiting companies are concerned, the biggest names have to be FinLadder, ABC Consultants, BS Group, etc. The internship situation is far better. A lot of students, around 85-90% got internships in various domains like finance, consulting, content management, sales, marketing, etc. Some of these internships were paid and the average stipend was around Rs 2000. However, the most number of internships were available in the domain of sales, marketing, and business development. All in all, the placement cell of Shivaji college is average.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is not up to the mark. The classrooms are in bad shape. Although there are labs available, most of them are poorly maintained. The library has a good collection of course books, although the books are older editions, mostly torn and unkempt. The washrooms are more or less clean and are available throughout the campus. There is a canteen and a kiosk for students to have meals. The prices in the canteen are generally low and the quality of the food is average. The taste of the food is also average. There is a sufficient variety of food available, both in the kiosk and the main canteen. No student Wi-Fi is available. The college is differently able friendly, with wheelchair-accessible ramps throughout the campus. There is no lift available. Classrooms are not air-conditioned and there is poor ventilation in some classrooms.
Faculty: All the teachers are surely qualified, and somewhat helpful too. The quality of teaching is average, which is expected in a government college. The course curriculum is kind of relevant. It has scope for the betterment and being more inclusive of real-life skills. It doesn't make students industry-ready. Students have to pursue additional courses and internships to be industry-ready. The semester exams are moderately difficult, but most of the students get passed.
Other: I am a student of economics Hons (2024 batch) Economics Hons is one of the flagship courses of Delhi University, and also one of the most reputable in the industry. It is fairly challenging, academically. However, if one has a good hold of Maths and economics, this is the course for them. The only thing I'd like to improve is the curriculum, to make it more inclusive of real-life skills and other new aspects. The college hosts a series of fests of different societies and departments. The campus crowd is average. It is located in an above-average area, with proximity to the main roads, metro stations, bus stops, and a bustling marketplace. The college has a variety of societies to offer and a maintained sports ground.

I'm satisfied with the college.
Placements: There are a considerable number of students who have gotten internships at our college. I don't have any ideas about placements. Most of the companies are service-based, and they hire mainly for marketing and research. The stipend is probably average or below average for unpaid.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Our college campuses are limited. Many DU colleges have playgrounds inside the campus, but here the sports complex is big, but you have to exit the college to enter that ground. Wi-Fi is not available for students. The canteen is below average. The classrooms are good. There is no hostel, but there is a PG nearby, which is a little pricey.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and there are many young professors. They are better at understanding the students' concerns, but this pandemic snatched our time at college, so it will be unjust to judge them on the basis of the knowledge students gained under their guidance. It is indeed difficult to pass semester exams in this particular course.

This college is very big and excellent.
Placements: The percentage of students were placed in our course was 5%. The highest salary offered was Rs 30,000 per year. Tier was many recruiting companies like Decathlon, E&Y, Naukri Com, PayTM, RBS i.e Royal Bank of Scotland. Around 40% of students got internships in Bajaj capital and Bank of American.
Infrastructure: In this college, everything was good. It provides great facilities like Wi-Fi, water pump, water cooling system, air conditioner, smart classes, library was good, the classroom was clean. The canteen was great sitting system was good, food quality was better, and the staff member was not kinda good behavior.
Faculty: Teachers were highly experienced, their teaching skills were great, they were very helpful. The semester exam was not difficult, and easily pass all semester with a good percentage. The pass percentage was 35%.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in taking an economic risk. Everything was perfect in this college. The campus was very crowded, and all boys and girls were made a good environment.
