Our college faculty members and placements are excellent, but we lack good infrastructure.
Placements: In our college, top recruiting companies like PVH Fashion (Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger), Lenskart, Z1 Media, EZ Works, Zielhoch, and Hireyy visit our campus. Top roles offered are sales associate, HR executive, customer support, etc. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Companies that came for internships are Ferns N Petals, Negbuy, Fitspire, and Akash + Byju's. Top roles offered are market research, content writing, supply chain management, sales, and marketing. The average stipend is between Rs.4,000 and Rs. 6,000 per month and the highest stipend is Rs.18,000 per month.
Infrastructure: This is the area where the college lags the most. There is no separate ground. The amphitheater, ground, and parking are the same. The canteen is shared with an adjoining school. The quality of the food is good. There are 5 labs and classrooms are well-built as per DU norms. The library is moderately huge.
Faculty: Our faculty members are supportive and advise students on topics other than academics. The course curriculum is quite relevant. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and one can score well by being thorough with previous years' questions and concepts taught in class.
Other: BBE is a mix of business management and economics. The curriculum is well structured and gives ample opportunities for career growth. The societies keep organising competitions and short-term courses. The student union also organises freshers, trips, etc.

The college's infrastructure doesn't justify its reputation.
Placements: The college's placement cell is working amazingly well. They work day and night to bring the best companies to the college to recruit our students. They are also highly supportive in terms of placements. They provide excellent guidance regarding interviews and future prospects.
Infrastructure: The course in our college has a separate room and floor.
Faculty: Teachers at our college are highly supportive and knowledgeable. Our teachers are also very supportive regarding studies. Their knowledge and constant guidance help the students to push their limits and achieve great success in life. They always encourage the students highly. They guide the students to try something new in life, like music, art, crafts, and other extra-curricular activities. Students feel quite comfortable sharing their issues with the teachers.
Other: I opted for BBE as I was highly fond of studying economics. The best thing about this course is that it is not only a professional but a practical-knowledge-based course, which makes it easier to understand.

My college experience was neutral. Placements were good compared to other colleges of the same tier.
Placements: Companies like S&P Capital IQ, AON and Genpact visited the campus for final placements. The highest package offered was 4.5 LPA by S&P Capital IQ. The lowest package offered was 1.5 LPA. Internships were offered by companies like AON etc. Approximately, 40% of the batch has received final placements.
Infrastructure: The campus was not huge, and it can't be compared with other colleges in the north campus. Wi-Fi facility was not provided. There were no sports facilities on the campus. Classrooms did not have projectors. Computer labs and library were good and comparable to other colleges.
Faculty: Faculty members teaching BBE course were quite young and were in the initial years of their career. However, they were helpful, knowledgeable and the alumni of renowned colleges and universities. Teaching pedagogy was similar to school. No industry exposure was provided. The course curriculum was extremely helpful.
Other: Various extracurricular activities were conducted by different societies, like quizzes, advertisement shows, role plays, debates, MUN and case study competition. Each department has its own society, and each conducts its own fest. There was a common college fest for all the branches.

The college has an amazing crowd, activities, fests and also exams.
Placements: The placements for BBE are really good. In 2017, the highest package offered for BBE students was 13 LPA, whereas, the average stood at 6 LPA. Almost 70% of the students were placed. The college has a placement cell which is ranked as top 8th in DU. Many internships offered with the stipend ranging from Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 15,000. If you are doing the internship in an NGO, then you are not offered any stipend. Many companies like ICICI Bank, Yes Bank, one of the big 4 companies named E&Y and some MNCs visited the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not as good as it should be. There are no playground and hostel facilities. All the rooms are not air-conditioned, only the library, seminar hall, and computer lab have A/C facilities. The canteen is average, and the better quality food is provided with hygiene and taste.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. You can even ask them for extra classes or discuss your career choices. They don't only teach what's present in the books, but they give the real-life examples. I say that BBE is far better than BMS or BFIA if you are really interested in doing masters.
Other: Many events and fests are conducted in the college starting from the official fresher party. The crowd here is better than many colleges as the students from different cultures are present here. The campus surrounding is good as you will be able to get all the facilities for the daily use. The college is located in the best place to visit in Delhi Karol Bagh also, some people call it as posh ilaka. Extracurricular activities are conducted throughout the year. Scholarships are provided only to the girls and minority students.

Satisfied with the college.
Placements: The placements in our college are good as our course is specifically designed by the college in such a way to place the students in good companies. Many companies like Phoenix, Royal Bank of Scotland, Genpact, South Indian Bank, Ernst & Young, Information Edge Pvt. Ltd, etc., visit our college to offer placements. But, the packages offered are not high, starting from 1.5-3 Lacs per annum. As there is a high competition for placements, I think this package very satisfactory for the students to start their career.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good as it is situated near the very famous place called Karol Bagh. It is very near to Karol Bagh metro as well as bus stop. The library in our college is good, and it has many books required for every course. The college has 6 labs and all are air-conditioned. Braille enabled computers, scanners and readers are available for visually-challenged students. Classrooms are very clean, and there are 2 A/C seminar halls. Our college proivdes medical facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college are very well-experienced and supportive. All the teachers teach us using the projector whenever required. They put all their efforts to teach us. They conduct tests at regular intervals. They conduct tutorials in which we clear our doubts if we have any. The course curriculum is very helpful as it provides practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge. The student to faculty ratio is 30:1.

Awesome faculty, not so good infrastructure, good placement profiles and no playgrounds and space.
Placements: There are a lot of placement drives. Also a lot of internship drives. Though packages are generally not high. They vary from 1-3.5 Lacs and 5 Lacs maximum. The companies do provide decent profiles, but students prefer for walk-ins, rather than college placements. Also placement cell is very active, they will try to fetch best of the companies. But big MNCs provide packages even lower than what a job at a startup can earn you.
Infrastructure: Poor infrastructure. There is no playground or covered canteen. Infact the benches and sitting furniture is taken from adjoining government school, which is very uncomfortable for average person to sit. It gives pain to body as they are made for Kindergarden kids. Also no parking space for a car and extremely congested parking area for 2-wheelers outside the college. No parking for students inside the premises. On the other hand computer labs and library are pretty awesome and students can access them whenever they want till 4pm. Though there are no outdoor sports, still there are teams for football, badminton, etc. Students need to travel on their own to India GATE for practise of sports. Also there are some indoor sports and gym which remain closed for almost 10-11 months in an year. There are no hostels in the premises so students need to find a PG (there are a lot near the college) which is not difficult.
Faculty: Faculty is pretty good. Infact this college has some of the best faculty members from University. Highly educated, full of knowledge on almost all aspects and very friendly faculty. Mostly young professors have different way of teaching other than classboards and making students write from book. Also the old faculty teaches in pretty interactive manner, hard for a student divert attention. There are lot of courses of Masters and Bachelors level, in different fields. Best of them are BBE, B.Com (H) and B.Com (P), though all courses are regularly updated to match the recent environment and trends and placements are there for all the courses. Though students are not provided with much indistry exposure. On the other hand curriculum of the courses are pretty useful as they cover all the education one might need in corporate and government sector jobs and even business. Though practical exposure is something which does lack. The canteen food is something students prefer only if its emergency as the quality is not great, but it is okay-okay.
Other: Fest and college crowds are pretty much awesome. Footfall of 5000 people or more is expected from different universities throughout India and fests are ended with a musical performance from celebrity singer. You may find pretty decent students from all courses. High-speed Wifis are always available throughout the campus, as campus is small so mostly all of it is covered with Wi-Fi connectivity and CCTVs for security. Also there is no ragging of any sort. Infact seniors themselves don't encourage that. Surroundings of college are a bit noisy as it is surrounded by Karol Bagh market, that may be distracting sometimes. Scholarships are available for economically weaker students, students from background groups and merit position holders of the college and university. There are no extracurricular activities, just there are cultural and academic societies which helps a lot of students, build their confidence and mske better approach every year.

SGND Khalsa is a gem of off-campus colleges.
Placements: Since I'm the head coordinator at placement cell, I can confirm the fact that in the session 2017-18, we've placed more than 100 students in various companies like RBS, FIS, Genpact, Aon, Decathlon, Arcus Global, Inshorts, etc. We also conducted a job fair in March to provide an opportunity for employment to all the commerce and management students in DU.
Infrastructure: The campus is comparatively smaller than other DU colleges. We do have the Wi-Fi facility, five fully established compulsory labs, spacious classroom, medical facility, and a good canteen. The only thing lacking is a sports ground, but the students practice on the grounds of SGTB Khalsa College as our college has a tie-up with them.
Faculty: The faculty members of BBE department are commendable. They're open to new ideas of teaching and keep the learning fun and innovative. The professors are knowledgeable and help the students with their studies. We do have regular class tests and presentations, which helps us learn in a better way.

Average/Above-Average college.
Placements: Placements for ours and a senior batch were above average based on an off campus tier-3 college. Approximately 30% off the batch secured a job. Please keep in mind not everyone was trying to secure a placement. The highest package offered was 4 LPA while the lowest being 1.8LPA. Companies like EY, Aon, South Indian Bank, ICICI, Genpact are regulars amongst others. Roles offered were majorly entry-level.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available on campus. The college had a decent library, gym. There was no provision for sports due to the small campus size however, the sports incharge would provide cricket/football ground at Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce when required. The infrastructure else way was average. A few lecture rooms were equipped with a projector and ACu2019s. Quality of food available at canteen was also average. The only thing which stood out was Soya and Chowmien samosas. Hostel facilities were not available however being in Karol bagh one could find a large number of PGu2019s/rented accommodations at a pretty affordable price.
Faculty: The teachers for the Economics department were very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The course material and classes were great. Teaching methodologies included regular lectures, power points, case studies, real life examples etc. Our course provided us with an industrial visit helping students understand and apply micor-macro economic principles to understand real life economic issues.
Other: The annual college cultural, Surlok was average. Apart from the same the other fests (Commerce, Economics, political. Science etc. ). Were also decent. Being a smaller campus and a small batch size the number of opportunities were immense.
