Absolutely satisfied with the college .

Placements: It provides placements to students who scored high CGPA. But it provides very few placements as compared to other colleges. I suggest that if you want to get a placement, then you should go to other universities as there are very few placements available.

Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi, good infrastructure, no hostel facility, classrooms are very well maintained, hygienic, and it is maintained very well by the staff, the canteen is highly hygienic and provides good services by the servants, and the nature of the servants is also very good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They help us a lot. If we study whatever the teacher teaches, we will easily get a pass in exams. The nature of teachers is quite amazing. They behave as if they are our friends. Their teaching methods are very unique. All teachers are very experienced.

Other: I am a UPSC aspirant. As this course strengthens my basics, the study material should be provided more. Fests are also organised .

Good college if you will put some efforts in study.

Placements: B.A. in History and Political Science is one of the best courses for pursuing a humanities degree. It's better than an honors degree if we want to crack exams like UPSC, CSE or CDS. In this course, very few students take placements and most go on to do a Master's degree. The average salary package is around 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and department facilities are also good. The whole campus has Wi-Fi facilities but the speed is not that good but that's alright. The new building is great and the old one is okay. Computer labs and other labs are also there. Fans are there but no AC.

Faculty: The faculty is good and well educated, especially the history teacher, who is the best teacher in the course. Some other teachers are friendly but strict about attendance, requiring 67% attendance. This course is quite tough because it has two main subjects: history and politics. There is almost one test per week and only semester exams.

Good infrastructure and faculty, and satisfied with the placements .

Placements: The placement of my college is not at all good as per my B.A., and I do not find so much good placement in our college because maximum placements are provided to the management category and not so many companies visit for college as it is a government college.

Infrastructure: So talking about the infrastructure, we have multiple courts for playing volleyball and basketball and even indoor games like carrom and table tennis. The food in the mess is good as the maintenance of hygiene is very good and seeing as the classes and labs are well furnished all over, the infrastructure is well maintained for you.

Faculty: We have a good faculty of teachers with vast knowledge and we have extracurricular activities in our college. The faculty in our college have a lot of experience in teaching and we have semester-wise exams. We also have weekly surprise tests.

Other: College fests, department fests, and inter-house competitions are organized. Scholarships are provided by the college .

Review of the Shivaji college (University of Delhi).

Placements: The placement record of the college is decent. Most of the placed students are from commerce courses. The highest package this year was 12 LPA and the average package is 3–4 LPA. Most of the recruiting companies have sales backgrounds. Since the average package is not too much, most of the students decide not to sit in the placement drive.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The new Jijabai building has all the modern facilities. The old building is also good. The labs are well maintained with modern equipment. The sports complex of Shivaji College is one of the biggest in the DU circuit. There is a cricket academy in the college, too. The college cricket team plays at various stages in Delhi.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members at the college are good. They are either professors or associate professors. Faculty members are very cooperative. You can reach out to any professor about your problem. The science department and its faculty members are the main attractions of Shivaji College. Although they don't give more focus to programme students,. But there are some professors who are more attached to programme students than honours students.

Other: Cultural societies are one of the best things about this college. There are 7 cultural societies that students can join to develop their personalities.

Shivraj, Shivaji College Delhi University .

Placements: There is one placement cell in Shivaji College which provides opportunities to students for internships in graphic design, online internships, Hindustan Unilever, bajai, Mahindra, and so on. You can avail of all career opportunities here like social media marketing internships and editorial head jobs, HR jobs, and many more.

Infrastructure: Labs are fully facilitated, classrooms are also good, and the library is well maintained. There are no hostel facilities available, but there is a canteen, a sports complex, and medical facilities for students. The new building is quite good.

Faculty: Faculty is good at doing their job carefully. But there are some staff who are not doing their job properly, but yes after doing some protest or by taking the issue to principal we can easily get our solution. So yes administration is very supportive to students.

Other: I chose B.A. History & Political Science. In this course, I'll be able to get information about history & political science which will help me in my future for UPSC. Content isn't available in Hindi, so many problems to those who do study in Hindi medium. Fest is okay, not a big fest is organized, but yes you can enjoy here. There are many societies like - Odisha for civil Service preparation & Dictum the debating Society and many more.
