It was a good decision to take admission here: Ananya Banaudha
From the beginning itself, human behaviour intrigued me. After passing my 10th grade, I had this opportunity to choose my own subjects and hence I opted for humanities. It gave me a wide range of interesting subjects to choose from. The list included History, Political Science, Physical education, English and Psychology. All the other four subjects were related to Psychology in every way. But my educational choices also evolved over time and now, I am also interested in visual arts and coding.
I passed my 12th with good scores and I opted for Psychology at Amity University, Lucknow. My elder brother suggested the college as he was already studying there. After the orientation, I really liked the faculty and the campus. At Amity, they provide us with various options of subjects alongside Psychology like History, Political Science, Communication Skills, foreign languages. They provide an overall development which is really beneficial in every aspect. I can say that it was a good decision to take admission here.
Admission procedure here was hassle-free. We were provided with proper and clear instructions which were easy to follow. The admission processing was quite simple. There was just an interview with the admission board which involved the department’s HOI and senior faculty members. We were asked several questions about the subject which tested our primary knowledge and communication skills. After the interview, I received an approval letter from Amity within two weeks. The admission process for undergraduate programs is less challenging and hassle-free.
Our college starts at 9 am and the teachers are very punctual. They are very serious regarding time and attendance. We do not usually get spare periods. When we do, our campus has in store various activities and most importantly, the library. We productively spend our time at the campus.
Every class related to our subject is interesting. We get to learn new skills every day and my favorite class is the foreign business languages class. It is obviously a great skill in itself and the faculty we have here is very experienced and welcoming. If given a chance I would like to have an official arts club where we can practice every sort of art and a swimming pool just to add variety to the sports area.
As a person, I have changed a lot and I got to meet different people. The faculty is also good and they have contributed to my overall development. I can see that my communication skills have improved drastically.
