The application process and form for the AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET are the same. However, candidates have to select the course they are applying for at the time of registration only. For both 5-year LLB And 3-year LLB Programmes, candidates need to appear in a different test (AP LAWCET) that will be conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. For admission to the LLM Course, candidates need to appear select AP PGLCET/LLM at the time of filling out the application form.

To apply for AP PGLCET 2026, follow the below given process:
- Register online though the official website
- Make the fee payment
- Fill the application form after fee payment
- Save and submit the form
To download the AP PGLCET admit card or hall ticket, AP PGLCET applicants need their AP PGLCET registration number or payment reference ID (AP PGLCET fee payment reference ID), hall ticket number of their qualifying exam and date of birth. After enetering these details, you need to click on "Download Hallticket" button.
Once you are done with the AP PGLCET hall ticket, you need to create its multiple printouts for the following reasons:
- To appear in the AP PGLCET entrance exam
- For admission to a college accepting AP PGLCET through AP PGLCET counselling.

This is an entrance test for admission to any of the almost 35 colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Interestingly this test is conducted for either of the three or five year law courses offered by the universities in Andhra Pradesh. Of course, syllabus for five years course is equivalent to 12th standard whereas one for the three year course is equivalent to graduation level. Out of the 120 questions spread over three subjects are to be answered in 90 minutes. With no negative marking, a student must attempt all questions. Indian nationals with 45% marks in qualifying exam and 40% for SC & ST candidates. The age for five year degree course is 20 to 22 years while for three year course us 30 to 35 years. Foreign nationals may apply if particular university allows it. In addition, domicile conditions are also to be met. Also, in the entrance exam, candidates are expected to score at least 42 marks ( for SC & ST candidates no such limit). These were the general conditions. But it's advisable for candidates to study these when ever exam dates are announced for 2018.
