GMCET 2026 Pattern: The GMEC (Global Media Education Council) declares the GMCET exam pattern for UG and PG Courses at gmcet.org. The exam pattern includes the mode of the examination, sections, test duration, number of questions, and the marking scheme. According to the GMCET exam structure, there are four sections in the GMCET 2026 exam: General knowledge of society, politics, economy, history; Brands and Business related basic questions; Films, television, radio, entertainment related questions; and IQ questions, applied ones. GMCET 2026 Pattern

The GMCET 2026 exam will be conducted in online mode. Candidates will have to appear for the GMCET examination from their home on their personal laptop or desktop. Candidates will be given a time slot to appear for the exam, and they will be requested to log in at least 15 minutes before the examination. The test slots for the exam day will be informed a day before the examination on the candidate's registered email and mobile number. Unlike other entrance examinations, there are no interviews for the Global Media Common Entrance Test  (GMCET) exam. The admisison process of the Global Media Common Entrance Test consists of registration, filling out the application form, appearing for the examination, and qualifying it. As per their result, candidates will be given an AIR ranking and as per the ranking these qualified candidates will have to appear for the document verification process and submit the fee of the college/university they have been allotted.

No, GMCET is not a center-based exam. It is an online exam, which candidates can give from the comfort of their homes. The exam can be given from a laptop/desktop.
