No, there won't be any essay-type questions in the GMCET examination. The question paper of the Global Media Common Entrance Test (GMCET) will have questions that will be objective type. Like every year, there will not be any essay-type questions in the entrance exam. All the questions will be objective/MCQ type and there will be 100 questions of 1 mark each to be attempted in 60 minutes.

Q: What details will be mentioned in GMCET admit card?

The GMCET admit card consists of candidate's details such as their name, their roll number, the GMCET exam timings, slot details and the exam day guidelines. Aspirants who receive the admit card of GMCET will have to be available with their laptop/destop active with high-speed internet connection atleast 15 minutes before the commencement of the GMCET exam. The admit card of GMCET will be sent to the candidates one day prior to the exam on their registered email address and mobile number.

Unlike other entrance examinations, there are no interviews for the Global Media Common Entrance Test (GMCET) exam. The admisison process of the Global Media Common Entrance Test consists of registration, filling out the application form, appearing for the examination, and qualifying it. As per their result, candidates will be given an AIR ranking and as per the ranking these qualified candidates will have to appear for the document verification process and submit the fee of the college/university they have been allotted.

Definitely, candidates who are awaiting their results are also eligible to apply. However, in case they qualify for the exam and are selected for the document verification they will have to present their qualification certificates to the authorities before the last date of the admission process. As per the official notification of GMCET, candidates will have to submit a minimum education qualification of certificate of Higher Secondary (10+2) or any equivalent Education with a minimum aggregate of 50% for the General Category & 45% for SC/ST/OBC or should be appearing for the same in 2026.
