IIM Jammu partnered with the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce (DICCI) to inaugurate the sixth batch of the Capacity Building Program on Small Business Development Units (SBDUs).

Under the leadership of Professor B S Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has partnered with the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce (DICCI) to inaugurate the sixth batch of the Capacity Building Program on Small Business Development Units (SBDUs). This initiative, supported by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, marks a significant step towards fostering entrepreneurial empowerment in the region.

Inaugural Ceremony Marks Milestone at Jagti Campus

The inauguration ceremony, held at the state-of-the-art Prahalad Classroom on IIM Jammu’s Jagti Campus on July 8, 2024, heralded a new era of entrepreneurial excellence. The event witnessed the participation of 39 enthusiastic individuals from diverse corners of the country, including representatives from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Distinguished Guests and Key Figures in Attendance

Notable dignitaries present at the ceremony included Dr. Mahesh Gadekar, Chairperson of the Centre for Small Business Development, IIM Jammu; Dr. Vivek Sharma, Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) at the Centre for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Skill Development, IIM Jammu; and Shri Naren Karunakaran, Consultant at the Centre for Small Business Development, IIM Jammu, along with Shri Shalin S. Nair, Administrative Officer-PR & Admin. The occasion culminated with the rendition of the national anthem, symbolizing unity and collective aspirations.

Yes, IIM Jammu accepts CAT Scores for admission to Executive MBA Programme. Apart from CAT, IIM Jammu also accepts GMAT/GRE score or IIM Jammu Admission Test (IIMJAT) Score.

IIM Jammu Admission Test (IIM JAT) is the entrance online proctored test conducted by IIM Jammu. The exam pattern of IIM JAT will consist of three sections:

  1. Quantitative Ability (QA)
  2. Verbal Ability (VA)
