About Login Portal (Academia) of TSM

TSM has a collaboration with Academia ERP educational software system. Academia software is a complete education administration system for universities, colleges, schools, and vocational schools. It is a software that has been created to manage, develop and keep up with the demands of higher educational institutions, delivering maximum automation and technology trends. Academia provides customised versions of four various systems such as School Management System (SMS) for a greater number of schools, Training Management System (TMS) for coaching institutions, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Student Information System (SIS) for higher educational institutions.

In Academia ERP TSM, a person can log in as a student or an applicant or a parent or an administrator or a lecturer. 

Student Portal

All information about a student could be entered and updated through the student portal, including the submission of any necessary documents. The portal allows students to check their subject registrations such as attendance, academic exam results and grades. A student can browse tasks or topics discussed in the class and download research papers related to the topic. Students can review their weekly assignments and projects as well as any papers provided to them as a group of students or as individuals. Students could also see their own code of conduct, houses, and updates on extra-curricular activities. Students can get reminders via SMS and email through their portal. Login user id, in case of student registration number or Email id, is provided to all the students.

Academia ERP system of TSM provides five services in the software such as 

• Student’s academic details, 
• Student’s fees, 
• Student’s requests, 
• Student’s service & communities, and 
• Student’s profile.

Student’s Academic Details: Students' academic details of Academia ERP software provide three sections: detailed schedule, attendance report and courses. TSM follows three-semester patterns for a year-long syllabus. 

• In the detailed schedule section, the class timetable for each trimester is updated periodically. 
• In the attendance report section, each student's attendance is updated simultaneously with the class timetable after the class concludes. 
• In the courses section, courses that are planned for the particular trimester are updated with their respective syllabus.

Payment of Fees on Student's Portal: Student’s fees of Academia ERP software provide five sections such as bills, receipts, online payments, manage offline payments, and statement of account. TSM follows both online and offline fees payment systems. In TSM, fee payment is done in four instalments.

• In the bill's section, the fee to be paid by the student for each instalment is displayed.
• In the receipts section, the fee paid by the student is displayed and recorded.
• In the online payment section, the student’s fee paid through an online transaction is reflected.
• In the manage offline payment section, the student’s fee which is paid through direct offline transactions such as demand draft or cheque is shown.
• In the statement of account section, payments which were done previously that is, payment history of online and offline payments are recorded.

Student’s Record: The student’s records section of Academia ERP software provides two sections such as student’s requests and reports.

• In student’s request sections, requests such as certificate, transfer, personal data change, raising a complaint, exam related, and other requests are filed by the students. These requests are overviewed by the mentors & deans and get approved or rejected by them. 
•  In the student’s report section, requests such as permission for leave, or a night out are applied by the students. These requests are also reviewed by the mentors & deans and get approved or rejected by them. 

Student’s Service & Communities: Student’s service & communities of Academia ERP software provides only one section named student’s scheduled events.

• In the student’s scheduled events, events such as guest lectures, alumni series, various club activities and cell events that are organised by all clubs and cells are updated regularly. Students have to check that periodically.

Student’s profile: The student’s profile section of Academia ERP software provides nine sections such as personal details, address, parents' details, pending KYS and KYS history. History of a student such as education details, work experience, extracurricular activities and disciplinary actions are also mentioned here.

• Here KYS refers to Know Your Stuff, where student’s activities are recorded in Academia ERP software.
• In other sections, general details of the students are updated simultaneously.
