The MBA season this year, was kick started by the CAT 2017. December, January and February will be spent in preparing and appearing in various top MBA entrance exams. Notifications for many MBA entrance test have already been released and others will be announced soon. 20 MBA entrance exams you can take this season
Considering the different syllabus of each exam, preparation strategy should also be sorted out accordingly.
Syllabus for all exams is not same. The sections in the exams are different for different exams. General Knowledge (GK) section is found in XAT, SNAP and MAT but not in CAT, NMAT by GMAC and ATMA exams.

A candidate targeting exams like XAT, SNAP and MAT (apart from CAT) should start preparing for GK syllabus from the beginning.
General Knowledge section is popular for its difficulty level and questions from any part of the world or country. The main motive of this section is to test the IQ of a candidate.
Instead of mugging up for this section in a few days before exam, one should prepare for it in the last few months.
