I learned about the corporate culture and working traits in the Hospital Administration, says Dr Nikita
As after BDS, I was working for three years as a Dentist and meanwhile preparing for PG also. Then one of my senior doctors who is already in the administrative department, suggested me to go for a hospital management course, as it has a very good career option. After that, I enquired about the same and came to learn about some good institutions, in which IIHMR Delhi was also on that list.
Then I applied for IIHMR Delhi and a few more institutions, but meanwhile few people including my faculty and senior doctors said that "if you get a chance in International Institute of Health Management Research - IIHMR, Delhi, don't think for another option, it’s one of the best institution for Hospital and Health Management & it's a mindset that if you are a student of this institution then you have a complete idea regarding this field and you are capable to handle everything."
After that, I started preparing for GD-PI round and luckily got selected in IIHMR-Delhi.
One more thing I liked about this institution, before admission we had an interaction meeting/ doubt clearing session, where we got the chance to interact with Dean, a few faculty, and seniors. They have cleared all my doubts so well and I felt that here teachers are very cooperative, and this was the reason I personally preferred IIHMR Delhi.

In the starting of the first year, I got a mentor, who guided me through this entire programme and journey at IIHMR. Faculties here calm the students also if they are not so confident or are worried whether they could do well or not, they support a lot, and they make them realise that students must focus on studies and work, rest responsibilities are on them to help for better future.
I learned about the corporate culture and working traits in the Hospital Administration. I was surprised that the whole academics at IIHMR are Placement & Research-driven. Only a few make students train in Research & Development. Apart from academics we’ve clubs for various events that make us work in corporate culture. My batchmates are from Pan India, this developed our vast network of culture, demographics, way of work, conflict management, negotiations, and competition.

Apart from studies, we also get a chance to participate in various co-curricular activities. Different tasks are assigned, activities are held and many more to make our programme more interesting and ultimately improve our skills.
IIHMR Delhi is the best choice for my career that what I have felt, and I am glad that I am a part of it. All credits go to my faculty and IIHMR Delhi team that made me so confident in my zone to rise in this field so far.
