After completing my graduation, when I was searching for a college for my MBA, my friend suggested that I visit Shri Ram Murti Smarak International Business School (SRMSIBS) which is situated on the Lucknow-Kanpur highway (NH25 highway Unnao). The infrastructure of the college was quite impressive, as it had recently opened. After visiting the college, I met some students who were studying there.
How I cracked my college admission
I belong to Allahabad and there were many students in the college from Allahabad and they gave me positive feedback for the college. After talking to them I met the Director. He told me that my interview with him would take place in my hometown within two days. This was because he had to go to Allahabad for college promotions.
He told me the venue and fixed a date for my interview. In my interview process, he asked various questions, told me the benefits of marketing and selected me for admission.
My College Life: Classes, extra-curricular activities and more
The overall college experience was excellent in all aspects like hostel, academics, extracurricular activities etc.
The faculty members and mentors provided by the college were outstanding and they treated us as our parents would. The college provided us with a complete corporate environment, experience, exposure and taught us how to sustain ourselves in the corporate world. We were also taught how to take our flight into the corporate world, be careful with people and be aware of ourselves.
If I get a second chance to enjoy my college life, I would follow the things that I learnt earlier from my 2-year PGDM programme.

The tuition fee component can be paid by the candidates annually or semester-wise. SRMS IBS Bareilly MBA tuition fee cost is INR 2.9 lakh. The total fee is inclusive of other components as well. The MBA course curriculum is more of less consists of similar core topics, irrespective of the college/university. SRMS MBA curriculum shall also include major and minor electives along with core topics. Some of the core subjects in a MBA course are:
- Accounting
- Economics
- Finance
- Marketing, etc.
