At this stage, the most important thing is to decide what do you want to do. Do you want to take admission this year or do you like to take another chance and prepare for one more year? All these things need to be decided by keeping in mind how you have performed in all your exams, what was your percentile, and what college options do you have with your current percentile.

Now that Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is over this is the time to loosen up and relax a bit. There is no point to immediately analyse, evaluate and cross-check your answer. Calm down for now and listen to your favourite music, go out with your friends, spend time with your family or just sleep. During the exams, you have given enough strain on yourself, so now its a good time to take a break.

However, in the next few days, evaluate your performance, analyse it thoroughly and plan your steps further. Think of all the possible options that you have now.

  1. List the possible options that you have after looking at all your performance in previous exams, would you like to prepare for another year, or would you like to focus on the current options and take admission according to your percentile.
  2. Even after MAT, there are few other exams like MH-CET that you can look forward to and prepare well about.
  3. List down the colleges that you can target through MAT the percentile they take, what is their process, fill the necessary forms and try to research more about the college.
  4. Gear up with your preparation for Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds of different colleges.

At this stage, the most important thing is to decide what do you want to do. Do you want to take admission this year or do you like to take another chance and prepare for one more year? All these things need to be decided by keeping in mind how you have performed in all your exams, what was your percentile, and what college options do you have with your current percentile. If you have pretty much good college options with you in your current percentile range, then think about taking that option.

However, if you do not score well enough and you think you did not have enough time for preparation, then you should probably give these exams another shot, but keep in mind try to do some internships or certification course as well because that will add value to your resume, so the gap of a year that you will take to prepare for your exam, would not be highlighted much.
