I am satisfied with the college in terms of faculty and placements.

Placements: Placement is provided by the college in fields like HR, marketing and finance. Most of the placements are for sales. There is also a tie-up between the college and reputed companies with a good package, providing a great start to a career and future growth potential for students.

Infrastructure: The facility provided in terms of infrastructure and course is great overall, equipped with industry-demand course curriculum. They provide facilities for a digital library and good internet connectivity. The food provided is decent for students from different regions.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and they were knowledgeable about their teaching processes. This course is curriculum relevant and it does make students industry-ready. Exams are tough but one can pass them by preparing thoroughly and the pass percentage is 97 to 98 percent.

Other: I wanted to enhance my leadership skills by preparing for management role to be future-ready. More co-curricular activities should be added, like sports activities. College fest is the biggest of all in Northeast. There are scholarship based on competitive exam marks, state quotas, etc.

Beautiful place to educate yourself.

Placements: MBA in finance and marketing. 7 students were campus placed in ICICI BANK, the top recruiting company of our college. Role offered was in retail banking as deputy manager. Placement and internship opportunity needs to be further looked upon. It should also be multi dimensional.

Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure for all around development. Library is one of the best in comparison to other colleges. Adequate outdoor sessions and lab work. Quality of food can improve. Wi-Fi can be rated average and needs improvement. The Wi-Fi speed fluctuates.

Faculty: Highly qualified teaching faculty. Focus is laid on making the students industry ready and professional. Students need to be disciplined and work regularly to understand the course. Passing is not that difficult as there are exams and test after every two months to make up for low grades.

Other: Best thing about the course is all around development and exposure to various fields of management. Improvement can be made on having more discussion and debate on current affairs and case studies .

Our college has a good infrastructure with a beautiful natural environment.

Placements: Around 40 students from our course got placed. The salary package offered is around 5 LPA-8 LPA. ICICI Bank is the top recruiter for our course. Every student got an internship from our college, or you can select your own company for internships. Roles offered in MBA are health service manager, finance manager, information system manager, HR manager and management analyst.

Infrastructure: The hostel provides us with free Wi-Fi services with good infrastructure in rooms. The food served in the mess is also good with different varieties. Our college provides us with a library also, where you can collect your favourite books and all. Our college also provides us with Marina court, where you can play different types of games or sports. The hostel provides gym facilities also.

Faculty: All the teachers here are very helpful like they can help us to complete our works or give us proper tips. Our college provides projector facility also, so teachers can provide us with quality education. All faculty members are well qualified, so they can provide us with proper knowledge on a particular topic.

Other: I am a commerce background student, so after completing my school life, I joined BBA for graduation. MBA is the right choice for me, so I chose MBA. I think practical studies are more important than theory studies, so our college should provide practical studies. Lots of fests are organised on our campus.

Great Institution to be associated with.

Placements: Around 75% of students placed in 2017-2019. and companies which have come to SMIT for placements were good and gives an opportunity to go higher. Efforts of faculty can be seen towards students and those who were not getting placed due to their inefficiency also got placed.

Infrastructure: Amazing campus with all good facilities, Olympic sized swimming pool with multi-storey academic building with Atal Incubation Centre and its good. Hostels are amazingly maintained with good food and 24/7 electricity and Wi-Fi connection. Cleanliness is up to the mark always, room cleaning staffs are really good.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful towards students and very cooperative too. Practical assignments are assigned to individual students so that they can eternally grow and work in various fields of work and get to a level. Curriculum was followed with many new topics to update us with the factors of the industrial world too.

Other: MBA is a renowned course and I chose it so that I can work with an automobile firm as a marketer or an HR in an organisation.

Placements: SMIT's placement is good in MBA. Many companies shown their interest every year and took many students to join corporate houses. Many corporate people come and share their experience with the student so that they can understand the culture of organisation.

Infrastructure: I would say SMIT is best in infrastructure and located in very beautiful hills of Sikkim. Hostels are very neat and clean with all facilities like 24 hr lift, hot water, drinking water and many more. Everyone is very helpful one who experienced SMIT can tell how SMIT's culture is different from other institute.

Faculty: Teachers in SMIT are very good and knowledgeable they are really helpful. Standard of teaching is something else all the syllabuses are covered on time which are relevant to the course only. SMIT helps the student to make them better so that they could face the industry challenges.
