IIFT Delhi will now accept CAT score for admission to MBA (IB & BA) for the 2024-2026 batch. CAT 2023 exam is scheduled on Nov 26. Additionally, the IIFT Kolkata 2024 application form is expected to be released in the first week of October. The application window will further be open till the second week of November. This application schedule is as per past years' data. Hence, are expected dates.

- Register and ApplyInterested candidates can apply online with required information.
- Written TestEligible candidates need to appear for the written test conducted by the institute. Test is a multiple choice objective type written test (in English) of 120 minutes. It generally consists of questions covering English Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Quantitative Analysis.
- Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GDPI)Based on marks obtained in Written Test, candidates will be called for Writing Skills Assessment, GD and Interview.
- Final SelectionCandidates are selected based on Written Test, Group Discussion, Writing Skills Assessment and Interview. The admission of Foreign Nationals/NRI Candidates is on the basis of GMAT score and interview. Shortlisted candidate would be required to undergo a Personal Interview at IIFT campus. Candidates called for this will have to make their own travel arrangements. In case they are not able to be physically present they would be interviewed through Skype.

Hi.IIFT Kolkata admissions to its flagship MBA in IB course are based on the IIFT entrance test conducted by the NTA generally in the month of December. However, during the final selection, candidates’ performance in the essay writing, Group Discussion (GD), Writing Skills Assessment and Personal Interview (PI) rounds are also considered.

To get MBA admission at IIFT Kolkata, students must fulfil the course-specific admission criteria. Admission to MBA was earlier through IIFT exam. However, from 2024 admission year, IIFT now accepts CAT scores. In order to apply for the PG course, a candidate can fill out the application form by visiting the IIFT website (iift.ac.in). CAT registration shall be completed separately through its official website. Candidates are further shortlisted based on merit in the entrance test, academic records, gender diversity, and aggregate obtained in Class 10 and Class 12. The final selection for the MBA course is done based on several factors such as, CAT score, WAT, group discussion, work experience, and interview round.

As per the report, the highest domestic and international package (for overall placements of IIFT campuses) stood at INR 75.6 LPA and INR 85.4 LPA. Further, the average and median package offered during IIFT Kolkata placements 2023 was INR 29.1 LPA and INR 26.5 LPA, respectively. A total of 108 recruiters with 36 new recruiters participated during placements in 2023. Major giants participated during placements including Amazon, Flipkart, Amul, EY, Infosys, etc. This placements and salary data, however, is overall for all the IIFT campuses since there is no update on campus-wise placements data.

IIFT Kolkata application process is carried out in online mode. Candidates are required to complete the application form and submit it within the due date or else it is considered as incomplete. Candidates must make sure to share the correct and valid email address in the form as most of the intimations are given via mail by the Institute. Further, the steps to apply are:
- Visit the official website of NTA i.e to apply online for IIFT admission 2023.
- Login and fill out the online application form as per the details given in the Information Bulletin of IIFT programmes.
- Upload picture, signature and certificates and pay the application fee to complete the application process.
- Pay the exam application fee and hit the 'Submit' button.
