The duration of this course is 3 years and 6 months. BSc Medical Laboratory Technology is similar to the BMLT course. As per the official guidelines, a total of three rounds of counselling will be held including the mop-up round for JENPAS UG 2025 seat allotment. As per the guidelines issued by WBJEEB, a seat acceptance fee of INR 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) must be paid to download the allotment letter. If the candidate fails to pay the seat acceptance fee, the current allotment will be cancelled. The candidate will not be considered for further rounds as well. The counselling process will be carried out online through the official website. 

Document verification was done at the time of admission in JENPAS UG counselling. Candidates must present the following documents: Provisional Seat Allotment Letter, JENPAS UG Rank card, Class 10th admit card/birth certificate, Class 12th marksheet, and an Undertaking from the candidate as per the Proforma.

JENPAS UG is an offline (Pen & Paper Mode) entrance exam conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). As per exam analysis conducted for previous year exams, it is a moderately difficult exam. A good preparation strategy will help candidates appear for exam without much difficulty. JENPAS UG is conducted for duration of 1.5 hours each for 2 papers (each carries 50 questions). Government and private colleges both offer BMLT, but choice depends on your priorities. Government colleges will be cheapest and will likely be regarded more highly when employed in public sector.  

Private colleges may offer better infrastructure, modern labs, and campus placements. Make sure you check out affiliation of institute and that it is with any valid university/medical council and has good practical exposure for both options.

No NEET is not a requirement to enter into a BMLT course in India. Most of admissions are based on 12th class marks or some entrance exam taken at institute level.  
Most colleges are open to students who studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology in 12th grade. There are some universities that will have their own tests or interviews, but NEET is not a requirement to take this course in para-medical.
