National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Kolkata has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

M.Pharma	Candidates must have passed graduation from a recognised board.

Admission to the Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (GNIPST) is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The scores required for admission to different courses vary: 

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma): Requires a minimum of 45% in the 12th grade, and a valid WBJEE, JEE-Mains, or CEE AMPAI score 

Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma): Requires a valid GPAT, PGET, or CEE AMPAI score 

B.Sc and M.Sc: Admission is based on the Common Entrance Test (CET) 

B.H.M: Requires a minimum of 50% in the 12th grade, and admission is based on merit and the CET entrance exam conducted by MAKAUT
