NIPER JEE 2020 Application (Out): Dates, Registration Process and Eligibility

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Ahmedabad in its recent notification, has extended the last date for NIPER JEE 2020 Application from May 15 to June 25, 2020. The decision has been taken in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak and the nationwide lockdown. Aspiring candidates can now apply for the NIPER JEE 2020 till June 25 by visiting the official website of NIPER. NIPER JEE 2020 is a national level entrance test held to facilitate admission to postgraduate level courses in the field of Pharmacy such as MPharm,  MS (Pharm.), MTech (Pharm.), MBA (Pharm.) and PhD courses (Pharmaceutical & Biological Sciences disciplines) across all NIPER campuses.

NIPER JEE 2020 Application Form Process

NIPER JEE 2020 Application form can be filled via the online mode by visiting the official website of NIPER Ahmedabad. NIPER JEE 2020 application form filling is a three-step process:

• Step 1: Registration and account creation
• Step 2: Login with username and password to apply
• Step 3: Application fee payment

NIPER JEE 2020 Application Fee

NIPER JEE 2020 application form requires some documents to be in place as per the NIPER guidelines, one such requirement is of the passport size photograph and the scanned image of the signature of the candidate. These two images should meet the guideline requirements to avoid the rejection of the NIPER JEE 2020 application.

Image Specifications for NIPER JEE 2020 Application Form

It is mandatory for the candidates to upload their recent photograph and scanned image of the signature while filling the online NIPER JEE 2020 application form. Candidates should refer to the instructions mentioned below while uploading the photograph and signature.

Photograph Requirements: 

The quality of the photograph should be good. The detailing of the image should be legible and the subject should be clearly visible and resemble exactly as that of the candidate. No old photograph or black and white image should be used. Poor quality photograph may subject to rejection of application, without any refund of the application fee.

• Photograph should be of passport size photograph and should be a coloured one, must be taken in a professional studio. Photographs clicked using a mobile phone and other self-composed portraits will be rejected out rightly.
• The main features of the face should be clearly visible and should not be covered by hair, cloth or any shadow. Forehead, eyes, nose and chin should be clearly visible.
• Photo should be clicked only after January 01, 2020 and not older than this date
• Candidates wearing spectacles should avoid any glare or reflection as it will lead to the rejection of the application form
• The background of the photograph should be of light color,, preferably sky blue or white
• The face of the subject/candidate should occupy as much as 50 percent of the total area, and with a full-face view from front looking straight into the camera.
• Spectacles with dark or tinted glasses are prohibited the lens of the spectacles should be clear
• The format of the photograph should be JPEG format and size of the photo should not be exceed more than 300 KB

Signature Specifications: 

• The signature should be done in a rectangular box of size 2cm × 7cm (Height x Width) on an A4 white paper
• The signature should be done with black or dark blue ink pen on white paper
• The signed signature should be digitally scanned using a professional scanner, and the image should be cropped as per the dimensions of the box
• Images of the signatures clicked using a mobile phone are not acceptable and can result in rejection of the application without any refund of the fee
• Only JPEG image formats are accepted and size of the signature file must not exceed more than 300 KB

Details/Documents Required to Fill NIPER JEE 2020 Application Form

Before the candidates start to fill the NIPER JEE 2020 application form for the national level entrance exam, candidates are advised to keep the following documents ready beforehand.

• Personal details such as name, father’s name, date of birth, personal mobile number, etc.
• Correspondence address (including PIN code)
• Graduation degree details (Marks, College address, Postal Code)
• GPAT / GATE/ NET Rank and Score
• Bank Account details for application fee payment
• Aadhaar number
• Choice of examination centre should be clear in
• Scanned passport size photograph
• Scanned copy of the candidate’s signature
• Scanned copy of GPAT/GATE/NET scorecards

How to fill NIPER JEE 2020 Application Form?

NIPER JEE 2020 application form is available online on the official website of NIPER Ahmedabad.

Step 1: Candidates have to visit the official website of the NIPER Ahmedabad. Click on NIPER JEE 2020 tab on the left-hand side of the screen in the ‘Important Links’ section. The candidate will be redirected to the NIPER JEE 2020 page. Click on ‘NIPER JEE 2020 Registration’ tab.

Step 2: The second step involves the filling the registration form. Candidates should ensure that they use Internet Explorer (version 10 and above) or Mozilla Firefox (version 48 and above) or Google Chrome (version 50 and above) to fill in the Application Form. In the registration section candidates first have to choose the programme they are applying for that is Master’s Programme or PhD Programme. Followed by personal details such as Name, Father’s name, Gender, Nationality, Mobile number and Email ID. Candidates should check the details they have filled in carefully before submitting as they will not be allowed to edit it later. Candidates have to submit a 7 character captcha before finally submitting the registration form.

Step 3: After the registration form submission the candidates will receive a system-generated mail on their registered mail ID with the NIPER JEE 2020 application form URL and a password. Candidates have to use their email ID as username and the password to login and proceed to fill the NIPER JEE 2020 application form.

Step 4: After successful login, candidates will be able to fill NIPER JEE 2020 Application Form. They have to provide all the details such as Personal, Academic, Correspondence, Communication etc. in the form.

Step 5: Upload scanned images as per the specifications.

Step 6: Finally, pay the application fee online using a prescribed mode of payment. No application will be considered completed without the application fee payment. Candidates must ensure to pay the application fee to conclude the application for filling process successfully.
