SP Jain Global launches Master of Applied Finance and Wealth Management Program

The 12-month, full-time course at SP Jain School of Global Management is designed to train the next generation of finance professionals, with a focus on fintech, wealth advisory, and sustainable finance. Students enrolled in the MFWM program will study across SP Jain Global’s Mumbai and Dubai campuses.
Dual-Campus Learning in Mumbai and Dubai
Students enrolled in the MFWM program will study across SP Jain Global’s Mumbai and Dubai campuses. Beginning in Mumbai—India’s financial and fintech capital—students will complete their final term in Dubai, a key financial hub of the Middle East. Upon graduation, students will receive an Australian master’s degree, along with access to SP Jain’s global career services across both cities.
Curriculum Focused on Fintech and Wealth Advisory
The MFWM program is crafted to address the changing landscape of global financial services. With rapid advancements in automation, fintech, and data-driven investment strategies, the curriculum blends core financial principles with practical training in wealth management. Key areas include:
- Client portfolio construction
- Risk and insurance advisory
- Tax and retirement planning
- Real estate investment strategies
- Financial engineering and structured products
The course also covers emerging topics like sustainable finance, Islamic finance, and robo-advisory platforms—areas increasingly central to modern financial services.
Hands-On Learning and Industry Exposure
The program adopts an applied, client-facing approach to learning. Students will engage in case-based exercises, live projects, and guest lectures from industry leaders. This practical orientation ensures graduates are well-prepared to meet real-world financial challenges in sectors such as private banking, investment advisory, and portfolio management.
Expert Faculty and Global Perspective
Led by experienced faculty with deep academic and industry credentials, the MFWM program emphasizes a global perspective on finance. Speaking on the launch, Dr. Arindam Banerjee, Program Director, said:
“The finance industry is evolving rapidly, and professionals today need a unique blend of technical expertise, practical experience, and global exposure to stay ahead. By studying in both Mumbai and Dubai, students will gain firsthand experience in two thriving financial markets, setting them apart in a competitive job landscape.”
