SPJAT 2025 application window is open for this academic session. SPJAT 2025 exam orientation will be conducted from October 27, 2025, to October 31, 2025. Students who wish to appear for the SPJAT exam can register themselves on the official website of SP Jain School. On completing the SP JAT registration, they will receive a test link on their registered email ID along with detailed instructions within two business days.

What is SPJAT?

SPJAT or SP Jain Aptitude Test is a management entrance exam conducted by S.P. Jain School of Global Management. SPJAT is a gateway for admission into various MBA/PGDM courses offered by SP Jain School of Global Management. The institute has campuses in Mumbai, Dubai, Singapore and Sydney. The exam is conducted to assess a candidate’s Mathematical Ability, IQ, English Reading and Comprehensive Ability, and Logical and Reasoning Ability.

Q:   What is the eligibility to apply for SP JAT?
A: 

A graduate from any recognised university or institute is eligible to apply for the SPJAT exam. Final-year candidates are also eligible for the exam. However, candidates holding a relevant additional post-graduate qualification shall be given preference. It is mandatory for the candidates to have completed their SSC and HSC education in English medium. 

The candidate who has appeared for CAT and have scored 80% or for GMAT having scored 650 are directly eligible for the evaluation round. 

Q:   What is the duration of the SPJAT exam?
A: 

The SPJAT exam is conducted in the online mode. The duration of the exam is one hour or 60 minutes. There are five sections in the SPJAT question paper and a total of 38- 40 questions. The total marks of the SPJAT question paper is 100. Candidates who wish to appear for the SPJAT exam need to visit the SPJAT exam centre and take the exam in the CBT mode at the test centre. 

Q:   How many sections are there in SPJAT question paper?

There are five sections in the SPJAT question paper. There are a total of 34 multiple-choice questions in the SPJAT question paper spread across these five sections. The sections are:

Q:   Is SP JAT easier than GMAT or GRE?

The difficulty level of the SPJAT exam is less challenging than the GMAT or GRE. Both, SPJAT and GMAT tests assess similar skill sets, SPJAT focuses more on practical reasoning and general awareness, and it has a shorter duration. However, strong preparation is necessary to score well in the SPJAT exam.

SPJAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to appear for SPJAT 2025 must ensure that they comply with the eligibility criteria of the exam. Failing to do so might lead to the rejection of the SPJAT application form.

SPJAT 2025 eligibility criteria is as follows:

  • The candidate should be a graduate from a recognised university/institute. Final-year candidates are also eligible for the exam. However, candidates holding a relevant additional post-graduate qualification shall be given preference
  • The candidate should have completed his/her secondary education in English
  • The candidate should have appeared for CAT and have scored 80% or for GMAT having scored 650 are directly eligible for the evaluation round'
  • Applicants who have not completed their most recent education qualifications in English are required to take any of the following recognised formal English language tests and obtain currently valid minimum scores as below:

    • IELTS minimum score of 6.5
    • TOEFL iBT minimum score of 70
    • PTE minimum score of 60
  • English language test scores were to be submitted on or before January 15, 2025 (for the February intake). Only test scores obtained in the last two years will be considered valid.

Q:   Who is eligible to appear for SPJAT exam?

Candidates who hold a valid bachelor's degree are eligible to apply for the SP Jain's postgraduate programs (MGB or GMBA). The students must have completed their bachelor's from a recognised university. The SPJAT exam ius open for freshers as well as working professionals.

Q:   What is the selection process after SPJAT exam?
A: 

After the SPJAT exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode, the institute will release a cutoff for the shortlisted candidates. Then the candidates will be required to appear for the further selection process which typically include a personal interview and possibly a group discussion. The candidates who match the cutoff will only be eligible to appear for the SPJAT selection rounds. 

Q:   Is there an age limit to appear for SPJAT exam?
A: 

No, there is no age limit to appear for the SPJAT exam, however, the students who are appearing for the SPJAT exam must have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board or institute and graduation from a recognised university. Candidates awaiting the graduation result are also eligible to apply for the SP JAT exam and fill the SPJAT application form.

SPJAT 2025: Admission Process

Step 1: Fill in the Application form

SPJAT 2025 aspirants need to register themselves for the exam and fill out the SPJAT application form 2025. To do so, candidates need to pay INR 3500 (including GST). The fee is payable only through a credit card, net banking, UPI or debit card (an international Visa or MasterCard). Candidates must note that payment will not be accepted through any other mode. 

Step 2: SPJAT Admit Card 2025

Candidates who successfully register for the SPJAT 2025 exam will get access to the SPJAT admit card. The admit card will be available on the official website. This year, no admit cards will be issued and the students can take the exam from their homes.

Step 3: Appear for SPJAT 2025

Candidates who registered successfully and paid the application fee can appear for the exam. The exam will be conducted for one hour, and test-takers must answer questions based on IQ, Mathematical Ability, Logic and Reasoning Capacity, English Reading and Comprehension Ability, and General Knowledge. 

Step 4: Check SPJAT 2025 Result

Test-takers can expect the SPJAT 2025 result to be declared within one month from the exam date. The scorecard will be available online, and candidates can download the same from the official website. 

Step 5: Evaluation

Candidates who clear the SPJAT 2025 exam need to get their applications examined. The evaluation will take place at the selection centres located in Dubai, Singapore, Sydney and India. The evaluation round will include essay writing, examining case studies, and a Personal Interview.

The SPJAT (SP Jain Aptitude Test) is conducted multiple times a year. This allows candidates flexibility in choosing a convenient date to take the exam based on their schedule and readiness for the test. The SPJAT exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode for all the sessions that are conducted in a year. 

Q:   What is the application fee for SPJAT?
A: 

The SPJAT application fee is INR 3500. The application fee can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, internet banking, etc. There is no provision of paying the application fee offline. The SPJAT application form will be considered complete only once the application fee has been paid before the deadline. If the candidates fail to pay the application fee, then the application form for SPJAT will be rejected. 

Q:   Do I need prior management education or work experience to take the SPJAT?
A: 

No, prior management education is not required to take the SPJAT 2025 exam. However, work experience is necessary if you are applying for the Global MBA programme. For the Master of Global Business (MGB) programme, fresh graduates without work experience are eligible to apply.

SPJAT 2025 Exam Centres

SPJAT is conducted at 13 test locations across India. Candidates can choose their preferred test centre at the time of filling out the SPJAT application form. However, it must be noted that the final exam centre allotted to the candidate shall be mentioned on the admit card. The institute can change the exam centre anytime according to the availability of seats.
