BET 2025 Application Form Closes Today: Steps, Registration Fees, Exam Pattern, and more
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the BET 2025 Application Form TODAY (March 28). Candidates who want to pursue research in frontier areas of Biotechnology must submit the application form by March 28 (11:50 pm). The BET 2025 exam will be held on May 13. Read below for more:
BET 2025 Registration Last Date Today: NTA will close the BET 2025 application form on March 28. The online application mode comprises registration, filling in the required details, uploading the documents, and paying the application fee. The BET application form correction facility will be available from March 30 to 31.
The BET 2025 exam will be held on May 13 (10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.), and the admit card will be released a week before that date. Candidates who have submitted the BET 2025 application form can download the BET 2025 admit card from the website.
How to apply for the BET 2025 Application Form?
The BET 2025 application form is available at nta.ac.in and dbtbet2025.ntaonline.in. Candidates must visit the website and register using their name, mobile number, and email ID. The BET 2025 application fee for GEN/OBC-NCL-EWS is INR 1300, and for the SC/ST/PwD, it is INR 650/-.
BET 2025 Exam Pattern
The BET will be conducted online, and the medium of the question paper is English. The BET 2025 question paper is divided into two sections -
- Section “A” comprises 50 MCQs of 10+2 level in subjects - General Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, General Aptitude, Quantitative Ability and General Biotechnology. Each question carries one mark with negative marking of -1 for an incorrect response.
- Section “B” will comprise 150 questions (MCQs) in specific areas of Biotechnology, and the candidate must attempt at least 50 questions. Each question carries three marks, with a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
Candidates are advised to go through the instructions and BET 2025 eligibility before filling out the application form.
NTA has released the GAT B/BET exam pattern 2025 in the official notification. As per the paper scheme, GAT B exam section A will have 60 questions while section B will have 100 questions. All the questions asked in GAT B section will be compulsory while candidates need to attempt only 60 questions out of 100 in GAT B section B. In the case of BET 2025 paper, section A will have 50 questions while section B comprises 150 questions. Applicants need to attempt all questions in BET section A while only
The GAT-B exam pattern and marking scheme of section "A" is as follows -
- The section "A" of the GAT-B question paper comprises of 60 compulsory questions (multiple-choice questions).
- The questions will be of 10+2 level from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.
- Each question carries one mark.
- However, there is a negative marking of 1/2 or 0.5 for each incorrect answer.

The National Testing Agency will provide the GAT B exam pattern 2025 on the official website. Candidates appearing in the exam are advised to go through the marking scheme. For GAT B exam section A applicants will get one mark for correct answer while 0.5 mark will be deducted for wrong answer.
