GAT-B Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates who want to apply for GAT-B 2026 must check their eligibility first. The criteria comprise their nationality, educational qualifications, minimum qualifying marks, etc. Read below to know more -
- Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology/Life Sciences or related disciplines from a recognised university or institute.
- Candidates from reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) or PwD must secure a minimum qualifying mark 50% in their bachelor's programme. On the other hand, minimum qualifying mark for general category applicants is 60%.
- Final-year students can also apply for the Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology.
- The nationality of the applicants must be Indian.
Candidates who do not meet the above criteria will be not be eligible to apply for GAT-B exam 2026.

Submission of the GAT-B application form
Once the form is completed, candidates have to download the "confirmation page" from the dasboard. Keep multiple copies for future reference.
