What is Jharkhand PECE?

Jharkhand Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (PECE) is a state-level entrance exam conducted annually by the JCECE Board for admission to various diploma programmes offered by government and private polytechnic institutions in Jharkhand. Jharkhand PECE is an offline exam of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration.  

Before filling the form, candidates must check the Jharkhand PECE 2026 eligibility criteria. Only those who meet the PECE eligibility will be offered admission.

To fill the Jharkhand PECE application form, candidates have to visit the website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. Applicants have to complete registration, form-filling and uploading the documents. No forms will be accepted without the registration fee. The authority will announce the Jharkhand PECE 2026 registration dates online. Only those who fill the form before the deadline will be issued the admit card. The PECE registration will commence in April 2026.

•  The exam will have a total of 150 MCQs from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• The Jharkhand PECE question paper will be available in English and Hindi.
• As per the Jharkhand PECE marking scheme, students will get one mark for every correct answer, while there is a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer.
