The program's primary goal is to prepare the next generation of family business leaders with the skills and expertise needed to excel in today’s rapidly changing business environment. IIM-Sirmaur Director Prafulla Agnihotri highlighted the program’s focus: “This course addresses the specific needs of family-managed businesses, offering expert guidance on crucial areas such as succession planning, equity management, market mapping, and strategies for expansion and growth, all while adapting to the dynamic business landscape.”

Global Perspective and Practical Application

Dr Shashi Kant Srivastava, a key architect of the program, emphasized its relevance for young entrepreneurs looking to advance their family businesses. “The curriculum is enriched with global exposure through international case studies, industry interactions, and collaborations with leading family business organizations worldwide. This approach provides students with a comprehensive view of the challenges and opportunities in the global market,” Dr Srivastava noted.
