The campus was buzzing with excitement, pride, and emotions as students, faculty, and families came together to celebrate years of hard work and achievements.
Top Students Honoured with Gold and Silver Medals
The convocation was not just about collecting degrees — it was also a moment to recognize students who truly stood out during their time at IMI.
Gold medals were awarded to:
- Saloni Mirania – PGDM
- Shaurya Sharma – PGDM (HRM)
- Meghna – PGDM (Banking & Financial Services)
- Ashutosh Bhatnagar – PGDM (18-month program)
The highly prestigious Dr Rama Prasad Goenka Best Student Medal was awarded to Vrinda Gupta (PGDM 2023–25), for her exceptional academic track record.
Silver medals were awarded to:
- Sakshi, Nandini Mathur, Gyanesh Tripathi, and Varishth Trivedi for their brilliant performance across different PGDM programs.
This year, IMI Delhi also introduced the Dean’s List — a recognition given to the top 5% of students in each program based on academic performance. A great way to motivate students to aim higher!
Inspiring Words from the IMI Leadership
Dr Himadri Das, Director General at IMI, kept things honest and inspiring in his message. “Don’t get too comfortable,” he said. “Take risks, fail fast, and most importantly — stay curious.” Simple advice, but powerful nonetheless.
Sabyasachi Bhattacharya, Convocation Chairperson and President – Corporate HR at the RPSG Group, congratulated the students too, urging them to question the norm, stay grounded, and commit to lifelong learning.
Celebrating IMI’s Shining Alumni
The event also turned the spotlight on IMI Delhi’s alumni, who’ve gone on to do great things in the world of business. This year’s Distinguished Alumni Awards were given to:
- Amlan Pati (PGDM 2013) – General Manager, Category Head – Galaxy S Series, Samsung
- Shilpa Dureja Puri (PGPM 2005) – Director, Marketing (Luxury & Ecosystem), Samsung
- Sidharth Gupta (PGDM HRM 2011) – Global Director, Talent Acquisition, Junglee Games (Flutter Group)

The course consists credit point equivalent terms, interested candidate would be pursuing 28 full credit courses (of three credit points each). Furthermore, during the last trimester, all students have to essentially do a field project in their selected area and submit a final report to the institute.
