BSc nursing as a career option is open to students after passing class 12. Candidates can pursue programmes ranging from the UG and PG levels, such as:

To start with, the BSc Nursing course, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing, is one of the highly chosen courses by candidates, right after completing Class 12. Interested candidates can get admission into the BSc nursing programme by appearing in several entrance exams held between March and July every year.

The next programme is BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing, a two-year-long programme designed to enhance the nursing skills of professionals having a background in nursing or a similar field. Thus, Post-Basic BSc Nursing is more of a specialisation course in nursing. The aspirants should have completed Class 12 having Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects along with a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and should be Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM).

At the Master's level, candidates can pursue an MSc Nursing course to have a core specialisation in the branch of their interest, such as Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, Cardio-Thoracic Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Operating Room Nursing, Oncology Nursing, Dialysis Technology, and Neonatal Nursing.
