The candidates can register and apply for the exam. The last date for the AIIMS BSc Nursing (Honours) Course and Post Basic Course is April 24 (05.00 pm).
The AIIMS will release the final status of the application acceptance or rejection on April 29, 2026. The candidates will be allowed to make corrections in the rejected applications from April 29 to May 3. Important Instructions to Follow for AIIMS Nursing 2026 Application
The candidates should follow the below points for filling the Nursing 2026 Form:
- The applicants must have a stable internet connection.
- The OBC Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for the financial year 2026-27 must be issued between April 1 to 24, 2026.
- But for 2025-26, the certificates dated till March 31 will be acceptable.
- The applicants are suggested to read the information bulletin because once he fee is deposited, it will not be refunded.

AIIMS Nursing 2026 application form has two stages. It is mandatory to complete the AIIMS BSc nursing application form 2026 formalities for both stages. Failing to provide information in any of the two stages will result in rejection of application.

AIIMS Nursing application process 2026 comprises two stages, basic and final registration. Both stages have been explained below:
Stage 1: AIIMS Nursing Basic Registration
Basic registration has been started on the official website of AIIMS. In this stage, the candidates will have to provide their details such as name, date of birth, email ID (for communication purposes), mobile number (to share information and code via SMS). This will be followed by the OTP verification. Candidate ID will be generated and the candidates will be asked to create a password.
The AIIMS will provide the filled registration form on screen which will be available to download.
Stage 2: AIIMS Nursing Application Form
The candidates will be required to fill the following details in the application form
- Personal Details
- Centre Preference
- Application Fee (As per category) and fee submission
- Uploading of scanned images of Photo, left hand impression and signature
- Uploading of certificate for claiming the reservation
After filling the above details, the candidates will be required to submit the application.
Candidates whose AIIMS Nursing application forms will be accepted will receive the registration ID and password.
AIIMS Nursing 2026 (BSc) application fee must be paid via online mode using a Debit/Credit card or Net banking. The AIIMS nursing application fee for the previous academic year was INR 2000/- for general category candidates and INR 1,600/- for reserved category candidates.
Eligibility for AIIMS BSc (Hons) Nursing 2026
- Candidates should have cleared Class 12 exams or an equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects.
- Candidates of the general category should have secured a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate in class 12 and SC/ST category candidates should have secured 50 per cent in aggregate
Eligibility for AIIMS BSc Paramedical 2026
- Candidates should have passed class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognized board/university, having Physics, Chemistry, English, and either Biology or Maths subjects
- Candidates from the General/EWS/OBC category should have secured a minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate in class 12 and SC/ST category candidates should have secured 45 per cent in aggregate
Eligibility for AIIMS BSc Nursing (Post-basic) 2026
- Candidates should have passed class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognized board/university, having Physics, Chemistry, English, and either Biology or Maths subjects. However, candidates who have qualified for class 11 on or before 1986 can also apply.
- Candidates possessing a Diploma in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from any Indian Nursing Council-recognized institution.
- Candidates must have registered themselves as a nurse or as a midwife with the State Nursing Council. In the case of male nurses, besides being registered nurses, they should have six months of training in any of the mentioned subjects is mandatory.

AIIMS Nursing Application Correction 2026
The AIIMS will provide the application correction facility from April 29 to May 3, 2026 only to those candidates whose form was rejected due to any error in the image uploading. The applications rejected because of any other reason will not be allowed to make corrections.

- To appear in the BSc (Post basic) nursing exam, candidates possessing a Diploma in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from any Indian Nursing Council recognised institution are eligible to apply.
- In addition, the applicant must have registered themselves as nurses or midwives with the State Nursing Council.
- A mandatory six months of training as a registered nurse.
Candidates do not need to visit any AIIMS campus to submit the AIIMS Nursing 2026 application form in person. The AIIMS nursing application form needs to be submitted online at the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in.
In case the signature is to be uploaded on the AIIMS nursing application form, it should ideally be of the size "20 kb – 100 kb" and the file format should be "jpg/jpeg/gif/png" only. It is advised if candidates can name the file as "Signature. (format)" before uploading it on the AIIMS paramedical exam portal.
