Calicut University shortlists aspirants for admission in postgraduate courses offered at affiliated colleges through Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Courses in which aspirants can secure admission through Calicut University PGCAP 2020 are MA, MSc, MCom and the likes.
Calicut University Postgraduate Centralised Admission Process (PGCAP) is the means through which aspirants can secure admission in Arts and Science colleges that are affiliated to University of Calicut.

Through CAP, aspirants can submit online application forms to various colleges and programmes that are affiliated to Calicut University. Candidates can opt to apply for admission at maximum 10 colleges/ programmes on priority basis from the list of affiliated colleges. Apart from this, students are also provided with an option to select three more programme/ college options under the community reservation category. Calicut University PGCAP Eligibility Criteria 2020
The PG courses offered at Calicut University through PGCAP are MSc, MA, MCom, and MTech. The University offers more than 30 MA specialisations, 35 MSc specialisations and 35 MTech specialisations to aspirants.
Eligibility Criteria for MA Courses
Aspirants are eligible to apply for admission in MA courses offered at Calicut University and its affiliate colleges if they possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 45%.
Eligibility Criteria for MSc Courses
Aspirants are eligible to apply for admission in MSc courses offered at Calicut University and its affiliate colleges if they possess a BSc in the relevant stream from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 55%.

Aspirants are eligible to apply for admission in MTech courses offered at Calicut University and its affiliate colleges if they possess a BE /BTech degree in relevant stream from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 55%

Reporting to College for Admission through PGCAP 2020
All the candidates who are shortlisted for admission need to report for admission on the date prescribed by the University and pay the fee at the concerned college. For admission through Calicut University PGCAP, aspirants need to produce the below-mentioned documents in original at the time of admission.

- Receipt/Chalan of the fee remitted for acceptance of allotment (Mandatory Fee)
- Qualifying Certificates
- Mark List(s)/ Grade card(s) of the qualifying examination
- Transfer Certificate from the Institution where last studied
- Conduct Certificate
- Equivalency/Recognition Certificate (if applicable)
- Any other documents (Nativity Certificate /Community Certificate/Non-creamy layer certificate etc.) as directed by the admitting authorities
